That's what happens when you have a guy like Stephen Jones writing up contracts for undeserving players. We've got a ton of money tied up in Austin, Ratliff, and Scandrick. I don't know about you, but I could live without all 3 of them.

It is almost a skill at this point. I mean you have to work hard to find these cheap turds...even with ten million in cap space.

You beat me posting this point. They have plenty of money, but they still refuse to upgrade. Why?

They have cap issues for next year. Something like $140 million committed for a cap projected to be in the $120 range. Plus Spencer, Lee and Hatcher are free agents and I think Dez is up the year after that

Saving cap space to sign Lee long term, that's how the Jone's roll.

I know he's not up just yet, but think how much Dez is going to make. If he's half as good as all the reports say, Jerry will make him the highest paid WR in football.

He might even beef up the non guaranteed money just to give him that distinction.

Ill admit it dez is like the only exciting thing about them for me right now.

Willie Blade is about 34 now. Football wise, he'd certain be a scrape from the bottom of the barrel.

He checks all of the boxes for Jerry.

So my sources tell me that he may be signed.

Amobi Okoye! Which we all know translates to "Born by the grace of God on Sunday but playyed coy in his first few years in the league and was regarded as a bust until his plan came to fruition and he signed with the Cowboys and had 45 sacks in one game and alos dunked a basketball from midfield".

I just can't see Parcells bringing in players like this. Yes, Parcells had a fault of bringing his former washed up players but then Scott Shanle and Fujita were good finds who continued in the league after the Cowboys. I wish we had some idea of the litmus test that brings in these square pegs when so many other teams sign players with legitimate NFL success. During the last few years, the Giants DL depth was a bunch of former starters from other teams. Ernie Sims was such a shocker signing to me because he seemed like someone Dallas would avoid in favor of a no name LB from Canada.

Sims had the draft pick pedigree, but by the time he came to Dallas, he had bounced around quite a bit and hadn't really done much.

I think the reason we see these no name guys is because they don't want to dish out any guaranteed money. Their cap situation looks rough for next year.

Need to re-sign Lee. Dez is coming up. Hatcher and Spencer are free agents.
