@DCUforums It was a HUGE risk but at the time LJ Smith and Mike Seidman were in the mix too. They went before Witten but Bill wanted Johnson

@BryanBroaddus I'm glad we got Witten in the end. I actually turned the draft off in frustration when we passed on him in 2nd.

That is totally ridiculous. You pay the scouts to find these prospects, you should listen to them.

Typical Jerry to override his scout and pick someone else.

Jerry Jones cleared the War Room and picked Quincy Carter all by himself when everyone else said it was a bust? Is that what that says?
