salary cap relief is worth more than Wake or a 4th round pick

I think Lombardi mentioned that too. That Jerry/Stephen may make the deal just to get all that money off books. Especially considering they still have to resign Martin and Collins.

The NFL salary cap should go up despite dwindling ratings which could affect league dollars I. Other ways. The Cowboys salary cap will be pretty large with Romo on the books. Get rid of Romo so Jerry wont be inclined to do so much restructuring to sign some of our free agents. also have you guys taken a look at Ty Crawford deal next year. A load of money for limited production. We were really banking on upside but I haven't seen it yet

Cutler will be on the market too, which could affect Tony's value.

I'd assume that Romo would be much more desirable / marketable than Cutler. The health factor goes against Romo, but otherwise he's the clear choice, isn't he?

Cutler almost certainly will be released, whereas a team would have to fork over compensation for Tony and inherit his salary. not sure if his new team would be able to renegotiate said salary to make a trade more viable.

There's a price to pay for signing Cutler too, self respect.
