Holy Sheeeeit!

At least we signed Looney as a place holder

So who all thinks we are going to spend a high draft pick to replace him?

I would not be surprised if we blow a 1 or a 2 on his replacement

And we haven’t even heard which players will be suspended for 4 games for PED’s yet

That annual announcement hasn’t been made yet

Are they still doing that or just fining the player?

I believe McGovern can also play center.

They only removed the suspension punishment option for pot

All other drugs still carry the same punishments as before

I have seen every center back to Manders and other than the short time Ray Donaldson was here, Fred was clearly the best. He wasn't the same player last year that he was prior to 2018 but this is going to be a major loss. Not a great draft to have a major need at center either.

I would put him right there with Stepnoski. Both were very cerebral players, very smart. Fredrick was technically sound but he’s also a hoss. Before he got sick I think he relied mostly on his power. Step was a smaller guy and played with elite leverage. He knew just how to grab a defender much bigger than him and manhandle him. Yea I’d probably take Fredrick by a hair.

Barring injury, one of the Connors will be the starting C.

McGovern played some C at Penn State and many scouts believed C Williams best position might be C (I believe Gil Brant was saying exactly that last offseason)

I remember we lost our collective minds when they drafted him instead of safety or corner that were both right there. After the first game he played in, I was sold. He was the leader of the damn oline. With Tyron about to turn 30 and his back problems going, our oline has seen better days. This one is gonna sting.
