Top guard has nothing set up with Cowboys

Watkins is ranked around #40, so I don't see what the problem is.

I don't have a problem with it. As long as the Cowboys take him because they think he's the best player long term.

If they take him simply because they want a starting G this year, then I do have a problem with it.

That makes sense. I'd have a problem if they take say Anthony Costanzo ahead of Tyrone Smith because they feel he could start immediately from day 1, or trade down to take Carimi because he too could start since Day 1.

But to not take Watkins because he probably won't be a perennial Pro Bowler is hogwash.
