Todd Archer: Brian Billick's ego to big to allow him to coach for Jerry Jones

Cowboys beat writer Todd Archer answered your questions in a chat Friday. Here are some highlights.
Angry Fan asks .. Why wasn't (Vikings running back Adrian) Peterson flagged for his celebration last week? The rule is if you go to the ground, it's 15 yards? He went to both knees.
Todd Archer: NFL says it's OK to go to the ground in prayer, and evidently the officials believed he was praying. Not sure I buy that, but that was the interpretation and it speaks to the flaws in the rule.
Chris from CT asks ... I live in CT surrounded by Giants fans. Do the 'Boys have a chance Monday night, and for the rest of the season?
Todd Archer: Sure they have a chance. If you want a positive spin on the first five games, it's this: they have made plenty of mistakes, can't get out of their own way and have not been blown out yet. If they can just cut down on some of them - not even all of them - then they would be able to string together wins. But I can't say for sure they will be able to cut out even some of the errors they have made.
blue crush asks ... Steven Peterman, Joe Berger, and Pat McQuistan start for other teams. Did we give up too soon or would they still be on the bench with the Boys?
Todd Archer: Well, I think they'd still be on the bench ... if here at all. The Berger move I never really understood and I said it when they cut him. They knew what Cory Procter was and decided to stick with him. Berger, I felt, had potential because he was bigger and a smart guy. He's doing well down in Miami.
Guest asks ... Have the "polite" Dallas fans made any more noise in the stadium this year when the opposing team has the ball? The Cowboys seem to have ZERO home field advantage.
Todd Archer: David Moore and I debated this a couple of weeks ago. I don't think there is a homefield advantage at the new stadium. It's not that loud ... or as loud as it could be on a consistent basis. I don't think people want to get the new place dirty, like when you move into a new house.
Jeff Gallo asks ... I think the Cowboys' next head coach will be Brian Billick. He has a ring, had to deal with strong personalities in the Ravens' locker room, has had a few years off to recharge and if I remember correctly Jerry Jones tried to hire him as OC in the '90s. Your thoughts?
Todd Archer: Can't rule him out but he's got a huge ego that might be too big for Jerry.
Bryan asks ... Can you give me some hope for Monday night? I'm already having bad visions of Osi and Tuck pouring through our O-line at will.
Todd Archer: Hope for Monday night? Hmm. Sorry, I'm struggling with something. OK, here goes: Detroit made plays down the field with Drew Stanton at quarterback. How's that?
