I know I'm the resident pessimist but that does not look like a playoff roster. 3rd WR is cast of guys who would struggle to make most rosters, RG and the Interior OL depth is terrifying, and in this projection, we are trotting out two Strong Safety types (translation, not cover guys). Hopefully, we will still have some transactions to pull off.

It's like I flashed back to the early 2000's...

Fuck.

You must have the same amount of brains as your brother SBK then, because this team is eons more talented than those teams were, and there's no comparison at all between the coaching staffs.

LOL my brother.

Yes, because this team , with the SAME PLAYERS mostly has suceeded so far.

I have the brains to realize that this team still needs better players.

Course, I am seeing all this the most non homers see it. And not through my glass stomach.

Looks like a 12 win team to me

Yup, no depth on the offensive line, no RG to speak of, two run supporters at safety, no proven third receiver, and many of the same underachievers of the past playing the same if not larger roles. Champion. Ship.

That looks pretty accurate to me. We'll win more than 7 games for sure. We won 6 games last year after that horrendous start. This is a more talented, better coached team. We'll be better at WR, RB, QB, OL, FB/TE, S, and K. The defense should be better all across the board.

I'm taking the positive approach until they prove me wrong. Let them start off 1-4. Then I'll be back to my negative self.

10-6.

I think we have enough talent to go 11-5 but I'm done predicting our record. I'm never right.

we still need to add a decent o lineman or two, safety help, a vet receiver and maybe another vet linebacker for me to be happy.

At WR we lost Roy and Hurd and gained a rookie. How is this better?
At RB we lost Barber and gained an injured rookie. How is this better?
At QB we are status quo with an aging backup. How is this better?
At OL are right side is arguable weaker than last year. How is this better?
At FB/TE we are status quo. How is this better?
At S we are still up in the air, but we can't get much worse than last year.
At K I hope we are better.

From 1-7 to 5-3 with a backup QB, bad defense, worse OL and no Dez Bryant for the last 4 games

This team right now is better than the one they trotted out at the end of the yr last yr by a long ways.

Dont see the need for another LB, they'll definitely have two veterans starting at safety...they'll probably wait and see at WR and OL, which is the right thing to do
