Its coming Sheik. Trust me.

I'm all in on our prospects for 2015. Get Dez signed longterm. Upgrade on defense some. Keep Romo healthy= BIG season

No. It's not coming.

2014 was our last shot with Romo.

I wouldn't even guarantee we make the post season next year.

This is the part where you call me a troll.

Or post a pic even though I have images disabled.

So much boohooing. I guess i am a homer. I dont see much of a reason to freak out. 31 other teams are going to be crying in their cheerios. I feel good, sucks to lose but hey they gave themselves a great chance to win. Plain and simple, it wasnt about coaching or anything else. The Cowboys had too many missed opportunities. Thats it.

I really hope so. I don't even give a shit about the things that come along with a SB win as it pertains to fandom. Bragging rights and all that other shit.

I want it so bad for Tony and Jason.

I could definitely see my rooting interests completely dying out with their retirements. I've never been the kind of fan to root for players, it's always been about the laundry. This watered down game that looks nothing like the game I fell in love with, it's seriously harder and harder to follow every year.

Not sure when it happened, but it seems like since Goodell came onto the scene, the referees play too big of a part in the game. I can't even enjoy a ball game anymore. Every single positive play finds me cautiously looking for that damned yellow bar to flash across the screen to nullify a good play.

And it's not "negativity and the blame game" when legitimate points are posted and discussed.

What, we're just supposed to be cheerleaders and have no critical thoughts?

I did too. I do think Romo changed some of the perceptions about himself. If he can stay healthy, the Cowboys should be ready for a Championship run next year.

It was a better season than anyone could have predicted. No arguments there. This is now a league where you're up and down year to year. Next year isn't guaranteed to be good. That's what hurts right now.

This team could nosedive as easily as it could go 12-4 again. Time is running out.

You can focus on whatever you want. Not saying you cant. I am not going to focus on that stuff.

I just hope all the chips are thrown in. Try to improve the defense as much as possible. Load up for one last try at this before it's over.

All of that is a given. So, what's the point in calling it negativity and blame game, when mostly it is valid and legitimate points?

Salary cap and future ramifications be damned. Get some defensive talent in here.

My thoughts on the loss hurts. That I felt it in my bones that we were going to get #6.

Usually the team that wins it gets hot at the end
Of the year. Well there was NOONE hotter than us. Offense was firing and defense was coming together. Romo had the best year of his career and Murray was killing it in the run game. This was our year. We were healthy and caught a dozen lucky breaks. Seemed like it as destiny.

To end so abruptly is shocking. Guess I'm kind of numb.

You'd think I'd be used to these disappointing endings to Garrett coached teams.

I think we don't get back to this level for a while. This was our window.

We had three chances to win it all with Romo... 2007, 2009, 2014. We failed each time.

Sure Romo is "only" 34 (35 next year) but he's an old for his age with a lot of repetitive wear on his body. Broke ribs twice, two intrusive back surgeries, broken collarbone. Will he get healthy and healed in the offseason - possible. But I'm not optimistic.

This was our year. We blew it.

I say were a 9 win team next year and back to reading/making excuses.

My feelings entirely.

But I think part of it is that I allowed my inner homer to escape and that's why I feel this way.

I wasnt really referring to your main post. I just skimmed a few posts and everything was negative. I wouldnt say any of it is valid or legitimate. Emotional mumbo jumbo.

You could argue those, or ignore them even. But really it's not productive to broad brush people who want to post analysis, their opinions on what's needed to improve, calling it all negative and blame game. Just seems insulting.

But that's aight.

You are right. I am just too emotionally raw right now. I cant even think about dissecting the team or even the game. I saw a quick clip on the Dez catch/non catch and i couldnt watch it anymore. Loses like these take me awhile before i can go back into it. When the Cowboys lost to the Vikings in the playoffs, i couldnt rewatch that game till some 3 months later.
