This is how the draft'll unfold

I've seen Barron rated as the 45th player in the draft.

Don't remember exactly where... but it was as reputable a site as is Scott Wright.

I think some people are seriously overrating Mark Barron.

I agree. It wasn't too long ago that Barron was a mid 20 pick, and then dropped out of the 1st round completely and now he is a top half pick?

Because I'm alone with the whole DeCastro is a top 15 pick thing.

I like Boykin as a mid-to-late 2nd rounder.

Not true. I've been on the DeCastro bandwagon from the get-go. My dream first two rounds have been DeCastro and Branch. Not feeling Boykin at all.

I havent seen anyone have him that low. In fact I havent seen anyone even have him out of the first round. One place has him at 29th due to the medical concern. PFW currently has him 15th.

Mark Barron is not a top half of the first round talent.

Havent seen that at all.

He's been regarded as a certain first round pick for 2+ seasons now.

If thats true then you'd have had to see him make alot of plays, and I dont see how anyone that watches a team with as painfully bad safety play as we have had for awhile could be against drafting this guy in the first round.

DeCastro is still my first choice by far. There's probably a couple of front 7 players I'd prefer. But if we draft Barron we'd be getting a really good player who'd upgrade the back half of the defense.

and Barron is pretty good player. He's a strong safety only type and to me, not a Top 15 player. Like him, just don't like him like him.

Speaking of which, have you (or anyone else) seen the SportingNews Draft Magazine ? Did they stop making them? I've seen PFW's, Athlon's, and a few others.

I didnt say that.

But I could definitely see us passing on him, him going somewhere else and playing pretty well and then you (and others) complaining about Jones being stupid for passing on him and failing to do anything about a traditionally major area of weakness.
