Trump is an awful candidate. Romney wasn't perfect, but he was/is light years better than Trump. Is there much doubt that if Romney were running as the Republican nominee today that Romney would beat Hillary?

Polls now show Trump losing among college educated whites.

The Republicans are about to fumble away a very winnable election because they selected a bad candidate who says stupid things.

A mannequin could have beaten Hillary.

Romney and McCain both blew it. Neither should have lost but were like limp dicks.

This election has taught me two things. One thing about liberals, and one thing about conservatives.

1. Liberals are morally corrupt. They will vote for anyone as long as that person has the letter 'D' in front of their name. The bitch should be in prison. Her husband too. The Clinton's are lying crooks.

2. A cluster(15%?) of conservatives are more comfortable with a politician who will tell them what they want to hear, as long as they talk nice and stuff. Results be damned. A guy comes along who threatens to shake up a stagnant government which is self serving and corrupt, but because he talks like a normal person and says things purposely to flare up the PC police, they become just as outraged as the PC culture they claim to despise.

I've been a Trump guy from day one. I'll vote for the guy. If someone asks me my opinion on the two, I'll say what I think. I'm not ashamed of supporting him.

If that bitch wins in November, it's over. There are a lot of conservative republicans that will be responsible for that if it happens. I supported Romney and McCain, two moderates that couldn't give two shits about conservative values. I did it because the alternative was Obama. 8 years later I can look at myself in the mirror and say "I did my part to try and defeat liberalism."

A lot of people should have a tough time looking in the mirror after this election if she wins. If religious rights are stripped, if a Syrian refugee shoots up a crowd of people, if your daughter is taking showers with boys after gym class because the boy identifies as a girl, thank yourself instead of bitching about it.

All of this is moot IMO. I still think Trump will win a close race when the dust settles. October surprise, I am praying for one. Trump needs help over the next month to pull back even. If he can get even and she is exposed further to be a lying shit vagina, I think he wins a close one.

Sheik, do I know you? Damn those are my thoughts exactly. I can't wrap my arm around these never Trump idiots. I too voted for McCain and Romney and I really didn't like either one a whole lot, especially Romney. I guess people are just comfortable hearing what they want to hear.

I never said ALL morals are laws. But laws are sets of morals that are established by people and societies when they are generally accepted by those people. Both morals and laws are ever-changing over time, and there not an absolute standard across the different societies around the world.

This makes no sense.

It makes perfect sense if you know what morals are. Its quite obvious you dont, so yea, it would probably not make sense to you.

Trump's not gonna shake up anything. He's all talk, and he'll be just like Hillary or some hawkish, big spending, republican. And he doesn't talk like a normal person, not even close.

You're not even trying now.... sounds like Trump has a hold on you.

I learned a long long time ago to not waste time with idiots. So far on this issue, you have proven to be just that. You lack understanding on the subject.

BTW, I already know what your response will be,

That's what I don't understand. How is he going to change everything, other than the way he talks? He can't uproot the entire system. He'd still have a congress to deal with -- it's not like there will be 500 Trumps making up the Senate and House.

Even as imperfect as he is, I wish he'd win because the alternative is terrible. But I still think he'll say and do enough dumb/controversial things to not get elected. The media won't be fair about it, of course, but he needs to know that and not give them any ammo. Unfortunately, I think he will.

I think it's a combination of the fact that he won't be able to accomplish half of the insane stuff he wants to do... and the fact that the other half of the insane stuff he wants to do is the same type of insane stuff the other big government authoritarians want to do.

He will start unnecessary wars. He will increase spending. He will not follow the Constitution. He will cause the cost of living to increase. He will increase the national debt. Etc.

When I say shake things up, I'm talking about sending a message to our elected officials across the board. Americans are frustrated with their government.

That much is clear. Why is it that Trump and Sanders resonated? Because they are both willing to point to the corrupt system. The first step in fixing a problem is identifying that there is one. I think we've finally done that in a massive way this election cycle.

My hope is that Trump wins the election, and that leads to some positive change where the system is concerned.

These are things you "think" he will do.

These are things Hillary has already done, and we KNOW she will do.

Whatever.... Carry on.

If it were Trump vs anyone else, I could understand.

But HRC has been utterly exposed as being arguably the most corrupt, the most dishonest, the most criminal candidate in the history of politics.

Oh but Trump is so uncouth!

Are you talking about the Dems and Obama? It sure sounds like it. Trump may or may not do those things, but I already know the Dems have and Hillary will be nothing but the same.

I am all but convinced that HRC is going to win the election simply by virtue of corruption. The election will be rigged just as the DNC Primaries was.

And the big money, big media is all in on it.

Trump is the Rodney Dangerfield character in Caddyshack - vulgar, boorish and making the Old Guard gasp in horror. Republicans have a reputation as being the party of the rich, but that's not so true anymore. Michael Bloomberg, Meg Whitman, Mark Cuban, Warren Buffett all support Hillary Clinton, and the Koch brothers (reliable GOP supporters in the past) are sitting this one out. Hedge fund guys have donated overwhelmingly to Hillary, and the Silicon Valley Tech oligarchs are firmly in her corner as well. Republicans need to wise up and stop being the party of low taxes for the super-rich who return the favor by donating to Dems.

He has said he's going to "open up the libel laws" ---> not following the Constitution

He has said he's not touching entitlements ---> spending increases

He has said he's lowering taxes ---> increasing national debt

He has said he is for raising the minimum wage ---> increasing cost of living

He has said he is for bombing terrorists' families and children... I guess the "unnecessary" part of my post is debatable, and I'm sure he will think all of his interventions are necessary. But I think he's going to be hawkish... just like HRC. He's certainly not sounding like someone who gives careful consideration to his actions.

Maybe you all think he's not going to do anything he's saying. I don't think that's something to hang your hat on. If he doesn't do what he's saying -- which is already bad enough -- then what is he going to do?
