Calling BS. Trump has pissed off many segments of society. Clinton is as devious and dangerous as ever. Reminds me a a rabid animal trapped in a corner. You must also consider our failed education system. It has produced a ton of morons.

Look at this thread carefully. Those we know that are a bit left of center are all in for a socialist. Those that are right of center are buying a sales job from a snake oil salesman that used to be a Democrat. Trump is scary for several reasons. That said, I will pull the lever for him over Clinton or crazy uncle Bernie.

Don't get me wrong, I am not advocating Trump as an "ideal" or "wonderful" candidate. The reason I think he'd win in a landslide is similar to the reason Obama won, it'll be turned into a "popularity" contest more than an election about substance, and he will be infinitely more popular than Hildabeast (who might be indicted anyway) or battshit crazy Bern. The dems only real chance is probably if knucklehead Biden gets in, but he cant seem to make up his mind.

I will support Trump or any other candidate that is not a Washington insider. I am sick of both political parties. I am very conservative, but I would never want to be part of the Republican Party. Trump may not be the most qualified candidate, but his ego won't allow him to be bullied around by other countries and he is a businessman that knows how the economy works. I also like the fact that he wants to build a wall and stop illegals from draining our government funds. I think he will regain the respect that the US once had from other countries.

What are you talking about? I'm not sure what you got out of reading this thread. That I think Bernie Sanders may get the nomination over Hillary? Okay, I also said I thought Trump would beat Hillary if Hillary got the nomination. And doubling down? I never voted for Obama in the first place.

Here's a simple question. Is it not valid to criticize a guy who says he is going to increase education but cuts education funding? Yes or no?

If Trump wins the R nomination, I bet he wins the general election in a landslide.

If Carson or Rubio are the nominee, they will win but not by as much as Trump would.

I doubt Carson gets the nomination. I can't imagine he has any one (republican or democrat) convinced that his tax policy could actually work. 10% flat tax based on tithing? At some point someone is going to ask if it is even fiscally possible and while I haven't looked for articles that have done the legwork, I can't imagine it would be fiscally possible.

I think Carson is a good man and I will support him or Trump. I think Trump will be more aggressive than Carson. Trump is kind of a bully and we need that after every country in the world has shit on us since Obama was elected. Putin will not bully Trump around like he has been doing these last few years. Obama handed the ME to Putin. That battle is lost. The Syria, Iran, Russia trifecta is a done deal. Other countries are already reaching out to Russia for obvious reasons.

Russia was out of contention as a world super power until Obama took office. They have become very strong again. When "W" was president, Putin used to come over to kiss W's ass down at the Crawford ranch. Look at them now.
