Another day, another Democrats DA after Trump gets caught manipulating or tampering with evidence. Earlier in the week we learned the special counsel Jack Smith manipulated evidence in the Trump documents case and had to correct previous statements he had made to the court. This led the judge to postpone the trial date indefinitely while she sorts out all the motions filed by the attorneys on both sides.
Yesterday we found out that Alvin Bragg's office deleted several pages of phone records for calls between Stormy Daniels' lawyer and Michael Cohen. Worse, Bragg never informed Trump lawyers the call records were missing. Story's lawyer, Keith Davidson, is a rather important figure in this case, as if Michael Cohen. Considering the testimony of Davidson about conversations he had with Cohen, including statements showing Stormy wanted to extort money from Trump, phone call records between Davidson and Cohen would seem to be very relevant to this case. IN any other circumstances, this admission by the DAs office would almost certainly cause a halt to the trials, at least temporarily while the court sorts out the facts, but in this case with a corrupt judge probably nothing with happen. But this is certainly another cause for an appeal if the jury convicts Trump.
We also learned that the judge in the E Jean Carroll lawsuit, met with another attorney and was given advice about how to deal with Trump after a verdict was rendered by a jury. Judge Engoron met with another attorney who claims he advised Engoron what to do with Trump. This would be a serious breach of procedure. NY has since launched an investigation into Engoron's behavior. This will probably amount to nothing, and Trump's appeal will have to continue as planned, but this means all for of Trump cases are now in question because of improprieties by the DAs or the judges.
