No matter where you stand on the immigration issue, there are far bigger problems this country faces. It's not just that this country is split but we can not seem to find one scratch of common ground. No matter what Trump decides, what Executive Order he signs, what judge he nominates, or who his cabinet picks are, it's going to be a battle. I find this kind of ironic since Obama ruled by executive fiat, most of his cabinet picks were approved and ready to go when he took office, his Supreme Court justices were approved with the exception of Scalia's replacement during an election cycle and the Dems used the nuclear option to approve appellate (?) judges and ram through Obama Care.

Now we get some nonsense about California wanting to secede. This is absolutely reminiscent of the position South Carolina took just prior to the Civil War. But it goes deeper. The Acting AG refused to defend the immigration ban yet the Department of Justice has looked the other way for the past 8 years, deciding what crimes to prosecute regardless of the law. They looked away when sanctuary cities violated Federal law. They looked away when States legalized marijuana in violation of Federal law. And now I'm to believe this political hack is following her interpretation of the immigration law(s) and defending the same. Please.

I'm to the point where I wouldn't want California in the Union. The country would almost best be served by letting these libs and their sorry welfare riddled States to try and make it on their own. They'd starve.

The Dems used every trick in the playbook to push their agenda the last 8 years to include the nuclear option requiring only a majority vote to pass legislation or nominations. At this point, the Republicans might best be served doing the same thing. I just don't see the point in being bogged down with an idiot like Chuck Shumer and his shameless ilk.

There is no middle ground. The entire DimoRat party is controlled by the extreme left. And because of that there will never be any "coming together" to do whats best for the country. When they say we need to come together they mean do it their way. Not come up with solutions that both sides can accept.

The "tolerant" is anything but tolerant. They are obsessed and driven by a radical agenda that they view as morally superior, yet it is anything but moral. The agenda is the priority. Its all that matters. Being honest and truthful, or people of character or integrity, or even having a realistic world view is not something they are concerned with. None of those things matter. The only thing that matters is pushing the agenda. They are fanatically driven like the muslims. There is no coming together. No assimilating. No middle ground. Its their way and only their way.

Liberals/Left/DimoRats cant be reasoned with. They arent capable of engaging in any intelligent talk or thoughtful honest dialogue. They are like little children that throw a tantrum when they dont get their way.

The real problem is that for decades conservatives and normal thinking people have tried to work with them and find some common ground. And every time they were given something it was just a step toward their goal of having everything under their control.

Its time to quit trying to work with them. They need to be eradicated. Trump should just ram stuff thru if they continue to obstruct and just object to everything. Tell them to get on board or get left in the wake. They will get worse and continue to show their true colors. As they become more desperate and spread more lies and garbage they will be exposing themselves. And hopefully we stil have enough people in our country that arent totally brainwashed zombies that accept the liberal world view.

Trump’s travel ban stops MAJOR threat, MSM silent

One of the consequences of Trump’s temporary travel ban on the seven nations (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen) in the 2015 Terrorist Travel Prevention Act is that other nations with terrorism problems don’t want to be next.

The president’s travel ban didn’t even include Pakistan, and yet it prompted them to take actions that effectively prevented 39 Taliban members from entering the U.S. Pakistan is among those nations that have seen a surge in terrorist activity in recent years, with Tehrik-i-Taliban (aka the Pakistani Taliban) acting as an umbrella group under which dozens of terror groups organize.

As a result of the terrorist presence there, the White House hinted yesterday that Pakistan could be added to the temporary travel ban: “Maybe we will. The bottom line is we started with the seven countries that have previously been identified, did a 90-day review. Maybe during that 90-day review we find other countries or we take someone off or whatever. But it is a review process,” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer replied to a question on why Pakistan wasn’t included in the list. White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus also hinted that Pakistan could be next on the list.

Pakistan took notice.

Unlike Iran, which responded by banning Americans from entering their country in return (there goes everyone’s spring break plans!), Pakistan responded by making an effort to fight terrorism in their country.

As the Washington Post reported: The sudden house arrest of a high-profile Islamist cleric in Pakistan on Monday sparked peaceful protests Tuesday by his followers, who condemned it as a government effort to appease the Trump administration after it banned visitors and refugees from seven Muslim-majority countries over the weekend — and after a top presidential aide hinted that Pakistan could be added to the list.
Supporters of Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, the fiery leader of the Jamaat-ul-Dawa movement [an affiliiate of the Pakistani Taliban], said the move by Pakistani officials had also come at the behest of India, Pakistan’s Hindu-led rival and neighbor. The group zealously opposes India’s claim to the disputed Kashmir border region, and a previous militant group led by Saeed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, was blamed for the 2008 terrorist siege that killed 166 people in the Indian city of Mumbai.
“There was pressure coming from the U.S. on Pakistani authorities to either arrest Hafiz Saeed or face the sanctions, and the government succumbed to that pressure,” Nadeem Awan, a spokesman for Saeed, said in an interview Tuesday. The U.S. government offered a $10 million bounty for Saeed’s arrest in 2012.

There was plenty of criticism of the U.S. travel ban from the Pakistani government, but there was no clear explanation for the abrupt decision to confine Saeed, who has been arrested and released several times in previous years and accused, but never convicted of, extremist activities. He has regularly preached impassioned anti-government and anti-India sermons to large crowds without being stopped by police, and he has a wide popular following. His group’s assets were frozen two years ago, but it has never been banned, and Saeed could be freed in six months.

The news of his detention was greeted in India with a heavy dose of skepticism. Many on social media noted that Saeed had been previously detained and speculated that Pakistan was reining him in now as a sop to the new American president. Indian authorities have long demanded tougher action against him and others accused of carrying out or orchestrating anti-India violence.

“Only a credible crackdown on the mastermind of the Mumbai terrorist attack and terrorist organizations involved in cross-border terrorism would be proof of Pakistan’s sincerity,” said Vikas Swarup, the spokesman for India’s Ministry of External Affairs.

Some Pakistani analysts also questioned the timing of the arrest and attributed it to pressure from Washington, noting that Trump’s chief of staff, Reince Priebus, said the ban might be extended to Pakistan.

Today (two days after Saaed’s arrest), Saeed has been banned from exiting Pakistan, and their Interior Ministry has added 38 others allegedly linked to Jamaat-ul-Dawa on their “Exit Control List.” As mentioned, Trump’s travel ban didn’t mention Pakistan, and yet it prompted actions that essentially prevented 39 Taliban members from entering our country. That’s an unintended consequence of the travel ban you likely won’t find reported on CNN today.

Cold and heartless driven by fear and hate. Where's your compassion for fellow human beings that deserve to be here just as much as we do? :razz

Yeah, I'm just tired of the bleeding heart social liberals who will walk over a veteran in the street that can't get enough to eat, or who turn a blind eye to the children in this country who have dreams, all in order to have some self righteous badge of honor because they care about people who are in the same situation in some other country.

It's not racist or hateful to make sure you America is indeed first. If we had this great thing going where everyone had enough to eat, every veteran that risked life and limb is medically and fiscally cared after, I would have zero issue with bringing and saving others.

Lets get our shitty house in order here, then we can branch out to other parts of the world and start taking care of their hungry and sick.

I don't know if she would be considered "hot". But Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) is reasonably attractive. Google her bikini and surfing photos and decide for yourself.

CONGRESSWOMAN WHO SAYS U.S. FUNDS ISIS JUST GOT BACK FROM SYRIA: HERE’S WHAT SHE FOUND
"Why is the United States and its allies helping al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups try to take over Syria?"

tulsi-gabbard.jpg

Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, the lawmaker who accused the U.S. government of funding and arming ISIS and introduced a bill to prevent it from happening in future, recently disclosed that she met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during her recent trip to Syria. The move has reportedly angered many of her fellow congressmen and women.

Upon returning from the war-stricken nation, Gabbard released the following statement in the form of a press release:
“My visit to Syria has made it abundantly clear: Our counterproductive regime change war does not serve America’s interest, and it certainly isn’t in the interest of the Syrian people.
“As I visited with people from across the country, and heard heartbreaking stories of how this war has devastated their lives, I was asked, ‘Why is the United States and its allies helping al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups try to take over Syria? Syria did not attack the United States. Al-Qaeda did.’ I had no answer.”
According to the press release, Gabbard met with refugees, Syrian opposition leaders who led protesters in 2011, widows and family members who fight alongside al-Qaeda groups, pro-Assad troops, humanitarian workers, and students, to name a few. Gabbard also met with high-ranking officials such as Lebanon’s newly-elected President Aon and Prime Minister Hariri, as well as U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard, Syrian President Assad, Grand Mufti Hassoun, and Archbishop Denys Antoine Chahda of the Syrian Catholic Church of Aleppo.
Initially, Gabbard allegedly had no intention of meeting Assad, as she stated in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper.

“When the opportunity arose to meet with him, I did so because I felt that it’s important that if we profess to truly care about the Syrian people, about their suffering, then we’ve got to be able to meet with anyone that we need to if there is a possibility that we can achieve peace,” she told Tapper.
The meeting with Assad is incredibly controversial because of numerous allegations by the U.N. that Assad has committed crimes against humanity.
“Whatever you think about President Assad, the fact is that he is the president of Syria,” she added. “In order for any peace agreement, in order for any possibility of a viable peace agreement to occur there has to be a conversation with him.”
Not surprisingly, the media has hyped up this visit as outrageous but has omitted some very glaring hypocrisies that arise as a result of Gabbard’s trip to Syria.
First, the Obama administration and Bush administration both drew serious allegations of war crimes, but if Gabbard had met with either of those former presidents, it’s doubtful anyone would have batted an eyelid.
Second, former Secretary of State John Kerry met with Assad in 2009, even though, after nine years in office, Assad was clearly responsible for all of the things western media has been relentlessly accusing him of doing since 2011.
Third, Gabbard’s meeting symbolizes the ridiculousness of America’s foreign policy decision-making system. A few hundred old men and women who have never been to Syria — nor care to go — sit in a room and deliberate a piece of paper deciding whether or not to drop million dollar tomahawk missiles on a relatively poor country. Even when these decision-makers are well aware of the horror their edicts will unleash, they are never required to visit the country, talk to its people, or understand the situation and better educate themselves. In the case of Syria, Congress wasn’t even required to approve the air campaign that began in 2014, as Obama authorized airstrikes without their approval anyway.
Gabbard’s move should be applauded — not ridiculed. Singling Assad out as some sort of mass-murdering psychopath while foreign leaders routinely meet with alleged war criminals such as Israel’s Binyamin Netanyahu, Saudi Arabia’s leadership, and Henry Kissinger, to name a few, is the epitome of U.S.-NATO arrogance.
Gabbard may have met with a mass murderer, but she also met with numerous people on the ground — the people who matter most. After doing so, she concluded:
“I return to Washington, DC with even greater resolve to end our illegal war to overthrow the Syrian government. I call upon Congress and the new Administration to answer the pleas of the Syrian people immediately and support the Stop Arming Terrorists Act. We must stop directly and indirectly supporting terrorists—directly by providing weapons, training and logistical support to rebel groups affiliated with al-Qaeda and ISIS; and indirectly through Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, and Turkey, who, in turn, support these terrorist groups. We must end our war to overthrow the Syrian government and focus our attention on defeating al-Qaeda and ISIS.”
No one can criticize her strategy because, for the last six years, no one has even attempted it.

Have you ever wondered why the liberals have so much concern and compassion for others but not their own fellow citizens here at home?

Not really. What I do wonder is, why nobody outside of Fox News will point blank ask a liberal politician what they have against the idea of America first.

The answer is simple, I laid it out above.

It's because they want to say "hey, lookit me! I have a big heart, it's bigger than yours because I'm showing you I care about all these other people. So much so that I really don't give a shit about people who are struggling to survive in my own country."

If you care about Syrian refugees, go to Syria, adopt the culture as your own, then fight the good fight over there.

ISIS has claimed they'd infiltrate the refugee population. Are they lying? Are they capable? I don't know. I'd rather be safe than be sorry later. There isn't a person in this country(pedophiles, rapist, and murderers excluded) that I'd gamble with their life, even if is a 0.0000001% that a person can get in that wants to kill Americans. That includes Muslim Americans.

If I could ask this question and get some sort of logical explanation. . . .

What is worse when it comes to feeding into their propaganda?

1. Banning immigration from certain countries.

or

2. Admitting that you want to wipe them from the face of the earth.

Nope. It's as simple as nodding your head and voila! Instant altruism. You don't have to lift a finger, just agree with the ideology and you have higher moral ground.

Anyone see Nancy Pelosi trying to answer a question by a mother who lost her young son to a brutal murder at the hands of an illegal?

When I say brutal, it was awful just listening to the mother go into graphic description of the murder.

Pelosi, the ignorant bitch, thanks her for the question, offers some half assed sympathy, then was like "yeah but was he seeking refuge in a sanctuary city?".

Yeah but. I hope that bitch meets one of these people in a dark alley somewhere.

Trump makes good on ANOTHER campaign promise; liberals IMPLODE

Nothing seems to trigger liberals quite like President Trump talking about religious liberty — two topics that drives these folks to the brink of insanity.

The latest statement to fly out of Trump’s mouth and sock a left to the metaphorical jaw is his recent statements at the National Prayer Breakfast about destroying the Johnson Amendment.

In a nutshell, such an action would allow churches and non-profits to directly participate in a political candidate’s campaign.

Yes, that’s right. A liberal’s worst nightmare: Christian churches, dedicated to the teaching of the Bible, having the ability to be involved in politics.

The Washington Post is reporting:

What the Johnson Amendment is: It’s named for Lyndon B. Johnson, who introduced it in the Senate in 1954, nine years before he became president. It bans all tax-exempt nonprofits — which includes churches and other houses of worship, as well as charities — from “directly or indirectly” participating in any political candidate’s campaign.

What Trump has against it: Trump presents this ban on participating in politicking as a restriction on the freedom of faith groups to put their religion in action, if their religion calls on them to campaign for a candidate. At Thursday’s prayer breakfast, Trump said that his reason for opposing the Johnson Amendment is that it impinges on the American “right to worship according to our own beliefs” — apparently describing campaign participation as a form of worship.

Speaking to a group of hundreds of conservative Christian faith leaders who met with him in June, Trump made his opposition to the Johnson amendment a key point of his well-received speech. “I think maybe that will be my greatest contribution to Christianity — and other religions — is to allow you, when you talk religious liberty, to go and speak openly, and if you like somebody or want somebody to represent you, you should have the right to do it,” he said. “You don’t have any religious freedom, if you think about it.”

He included it in his acceptance speech when he won the Republican presidential nomination as well, after he thanked evangelical Christians. “They have so much to contribute to our politics, yet our laws prevent you from speaking your minds from your own pulpits. An amendment, pushed by Lyndon Johnson, many years ago, threatens religious institutions with a loss of their tax-exempt status if they openly advocate their political views,” Trump said.

This beautiful, wonderful country of ours wouldn’t exist today if not for churches, led by strong men of God with a deep faith in the Bible, preaching about tyranny from the pulpit and joined by the ranks of soldiers who fight for freedom from Great Britain.

Churches today, however, could never mobilize such a movement for fear of losing their tax-exempt status, which more or less gives the government the power to gag religious leaders and restrict their freedom of speech, all in the name of “separation of church and state.”

Sure, the federal government shouldn’t declare one official religion for the whole country and mandate attendance. However, the whole concept of separation had nothing to do with banning the public influence of religion on the formation of policy and legislation.

If Trump gets rid of this amendment, it restores a very big section of religious liberty lost years ago, and provides churches and leaders with an opportunity to once again influence the future course of our country.

It's gloomy but I think you're right on a lot of points. I thought it was strange during the last 8 years while I watched the transformation take place. It was like watching a real life version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers as this radical President put people just like him in key government positions. They've infected our military, the Department of Justice and legal system in general, the intelligence community and even the State Department. While these positions were political at the top, to see the rank and file libs who have infested these institutions speak out against a sitting President is unheard of.

They need to be gutted. I heard the idiots on MSNBC talk about Trump taking on the CIA and the establishment and that they would fight back. I was shocked. These people work for the President. Whatever happened to the peaceful transition of power that the libs talked about during the election process? And what's even more shocking are all these leaks from folks within these government agencies. These people need to be identified and fired.

Trudeau’s SURPRISING new take on Trump…

Despite being just 2 weeks into his presidency, Donald Trump has accomplished many of the campaign promises he made to the American people. What has become increasingly clear is President Trump doesn’t plan to waste any time, taking few breaks between rolling out new policies.

Of course, not everyone is fond of the new direction the country is taking under Trump. Aside from liberals at home, many foreign leaders have been hesitant to embrace their new peer. In the wake of Trump’s travel ban, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement on Twitter welcoming refugees into Canada. Although not a direct shot at Trump, the message was clear. However, now it seems that Trudeau may be backing off of his harsh stance on the new president.

From Reuters:

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is taking a low key approach to dealing with U.S. President Donald Trump, seeking to avoid clashes while indirectly signaling the two leaders’ differences to a domestic audience.

Insiders acknowledge the cautious strategy could anger progressives whose support helped bring Trudeau to power in 2015 but say for now, he has no choice but to hold fire: Canada sends 75 percent of its exports to the United States and could suffer if it is targeted by Trump.

“Why poke a grizzly bear while it’s having lunch? Trump has just got into office and he is formulating his economic plans,” said one senior political source.

While Trudeau’s close friendship with former President Barack Obama was often referred to as a “bromance” and “dude-plomacy,” Canadian prime ministers have not always had close ties with U.S. presidents.

That might be wise advice, especially considering Canada’s policy of not accepting male refugees from Syria. Despite the criticism, Canada itself has realized the dangers of the current refugee system.

Trudeau’s decision to pause and give Trump a chance will be good for both countries. After all, Canada and the U.S. have been close allies for decades, and with the potential renegotiation of NAFTA, the leader is wise to at least attempt a good working relationship with President Trump.

While it is unlikely Trudeau will find as much common ground with Trump as he did with President Obama, there’s potential for the two leaders to work together on many issues. Not being publicly critical of one of your closest allies is a good first step in keeping that relationship on solid footing.

CALIF SENATE LEADER: “HALF MY FAMILY HERE ILLEGALLY”

Senator claims using fake social security numbers not a problem

Clifford Cunningham | Infowars.com - FEBRUARY 6, 2017 734 Comments

Calif Senate Leader: "Half My Family Here Illegally"

The President of the California State Senate said “half his family” are in the U.S. illegally and in possession of false documents.
Kevin De Léon, a Democrat from Los Angeles, made the comment last week when he introduced a bill to designate the state of California as a “sanctuary state.”

“I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification,” he said.

De Léon expressed outrage that President Trump’s executive order would allow for the deportation of illegal immigrants who possess fraudulent documents or commit identity fraud to obtain a Social Security number during an interview the next day.

“Someone simply who received or purchased a [fraudulent] Social Security card down at McArthur Park, or elsewhere in my district would be eligible immediately for mass deportation,” he said.

During the interview, host Larry Mantle asked if De Léon believed that possession of a fraudulent Social Security card warranted deportation.

“I don’t think so … the vast majority of immigrants — hard working immigrants — have done that. I can tell you I have family members specifically who came here as undocumented immigrants, and they did the same thing,” he said. “That’s what you need to do to survive in this economy.”

De Léon represents the 24th Senate district, which encompasses the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles as well as numerous neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city of Los Angeles.

The district itself is nearly 67% Hispanic, while the community of East Los Angeles is, at 97% Hispanic, the least ethnically diverse area of Los Angeles County.

The fact that this person is comfortable enough to talk about this law breaking so openly, with no fear of any consequence, it's sad.

I hope ICE rounds up his family first. He should lose his cushy job for being an accomplice to this illegal activity.
