We don't live in a fact-based, evidence-based society anymore. Its all simple propaganda now. Coming from both sides.

The problem is that we can show two people the same set of facts, the same evidence or the same statistics and they can both come to different conclusions.

If you can get most people (or a large %) to believe Obama is a Muslim and was born in Kenya, then that's good for your side.

And that's been disproven (to a point). But I find it very odd that no one from Obama's past has really come forward. No friends from high school, no friends from college, no friends from his childhood, no ex-girlfriend, zilch. Is his mother still alive? We heard from his half brother in Kenya but how about a cousin? Something? I always found that very odd. We know a lot about our politicians, except for this guy.

We'd all like to know definitively that's for sure. He produced a copy of his birth certificate or something so folks aren't really talking about it as much as they were. I just think a lot of this guy's background or lack of any real knowledge about his background is odd. At the end of the day, it's over.
