Of course the MSM and Democrats are lying. They are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

But make no mistake. This was a stupid mistake someone made. The Trump admin should just admit it was a bad mistake and they are going to make sure it doesn't happen again. Then move on. Reveal the facts as much as possible. My guess is some staffer goofed up. Once Goldberg was added to the group chat, the other members of the group probably didn't even know he was added.

I have never used the Signal app but we all know you can't see who is on group texts if there are more than 2 people involved. We'll all hit reply all when we didn't mean to creating an embarrassing situation. It's human error. at the same time, I would probably recommend not using a texting app, even and encrypted one, to have these kinds of discussions. Why not a group call?

When I was working in CyberSecurity we would hold conference calls when discussing anything sensitive. We could see a list of numbers who dialed in and know who had joined. Anyone new who joined would be announced, and we could ask them to leave the call if they didn't belong. Then we could lock the call tp prevent new callers from joined unexpectedly.

I would bet this same situation with Signal has happened many times before, but the people put on the group chat incorrectly were either sympathetic to the administration in question, or they politely informed the group of the mistake and had themselves removed.

My question is who had Jeff Goldberg in their contract list and why?
