Roberts complaining about impeaching bad judges is clearly out of touch with reality. Impeachment would not be an issue now is the Roberts court put a stop to this lawfare years ago. Those NY and DC cases against Trump should have been slapped down hard by the Roberts court. Yet all we got was either a refusal to take up some cases early, or some half measures not taking a strong stand either way.

Clarence Thomas has pointed the way numerous times for Roberts but Roberts continues to project weakness and allow the unconstitutional judicial power grabs continue. If is the courts, not Trump creating a constitutional crisis.

It would be wonderful if Roberts resigned and Trump had the opportunity to appoint a justice with a backbone to be Chief Justice of the court.
