He'd get re-elected in NJ if he ran again. The people of my state are brainwashed liberals. They elected him after his first trial ended in a hung jury. Weirdly, his dentist pal was convicted. This is why we cannot trust liberal voters, or juries. They are incapable of being objective anymore.

Remember, Menendez's first prosecution came after he opposed Obama on his Israel policy. Soon after he criticized Obama, he was indicted but Obama's justice department. He wasn't convicted but the timing was obvious.
