I agree with him that it shouldn't take 7 years to become a citizen, there should be a more streamlined process (90 days may be ambitious but why drag it out if we dont have to?) and I think the border is better protected not with a wall people will climb under, over or around but with technological surveillance, more border agents (plus more stringent obstacles at the border coming into Mexico as well as making them wait in Mexico vs catch and release)
I work with 80% hispanics and would have no problem with any of them who arent currently being citizens. The ones that I know that arent should be because they are badass people with great families, hard working, etc..everything you'd want in a fellow citizen. One of them has been married to an american born woman for 5+ years and they've spent 1,000s of dollars on attorneys, etc and he's still not legal, its ridiculous. Know another guy thats been illegal and working here for 20+ years (he faithfully cared for a single man he had worked for as the man got older and sick, he had no family to take care of him so he and his wife moved in, fed him, bathed him, took care of him and his house, he ended up dying in my buddies arms). Turns out he was very rich and left it all to my friend so he moved back to Honduras and bought some land and built a house. He came back recently to visit and had to pay the cartels $7k to get in the US.
we need to quit playing politics with the border and arrive at a reasonable solution that can be implemented consistently once and for all
Dont confuse what I'm saying to mean I want no borders and a complete free for all but a combination of the what was mentioned above nor will I be voters for those jokers or agree with much of what they espouse but the points he made (outside of the dipshit ladder comment) seemed reasonable

First, we should not naturalize anyone unless they are here for the right reasons. We should not import people who hate America or do not come here to assimilate into the American culture. That includes learning our language, which is English. I grew up at a time when there was no option to press 1 for English and 2 for Spanish. There was just English, and that is how it should be. We are a nation of immigrants, but never in our history have was provided for another language as we have to the Latinos who have come here. If we do not have one language and culture, then we can expect constant conflict.
If it takes a few years to assimilate, then I have no problem delaying naturalization for a few years. But at a minimum immigrants would know our language, and understand the fundamental concepts of America, including the constitution. No one can learn this in 90 days, or even a year.
I also believe anyone coming here illegally permanently forfeits the right to be a citizen and to vote, and that includes their children too. The anchor baby rule is one of the worst legal opinions rendered onto this country since Dred Scott. There should be no rewards for anyone who disregards our laws and our borders.
Immigration should be about helping the country. If we need bricklayers then we allow bricklayers to enter the country. Hence, it needs to be controlled. Importing people who are unskilled and unable to support themselves is a burden on citizens and should be stopped, and that is especially true for illegal immigration. The people coming here illegally are not doctors, engineers, teachers and scientists. They are unskilled workers that can only do the most menial jobs. And when there aren't enough of those jobs to go around, then American workers wind up on the unemployment line.

NJ is partially revising its ban to allow home delivery services to use paper bags instead of reusable plastic bags because people were just throwing the plastic bags in the garbage Now California and NJ and both proposing a ban on reusable plastic bags and forcing people to buy cloth bags to carry their groceries home. This will fail as well. NJ found that one reason people dispose of the reusable plastic bags is they were unsanitary. Plastic bags can at least be wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes. Cloth bags will absorb the juices of meats and other foods and the bags will become disgusting very quickly.
Why can't we use the single use plastic bags and just recycle them the same way we recycle plastic and glass bottles? Or why not use biodegradable plastic bags which are available from a number of manufacturers? Leftists are always trying to make life more difficult of others by taking away all the conveniences we've had in the past. It seems the only word they know is "ban" because they are always trying to ban something.

Yes, this guys is clearly full of it, but I am curious what the US government, with Biden or Harris in charge, would do if the UK did try to extradite an American citizen for social media posts that violate British law.
I have this awful feeling a Democrat DOJ would extradite an American expressing conservative points of view. I believe the DC courts would go along with it. As crazy as it sounds, this guy could get his wish if Harris wins in November.
And btw, Orwell's "1984" was set in the UK. Don't forget that.
