The Czech Republic has a second amendment type clause in their constitution. Like the US., Czech citizens are allowed to own and even carry firearms. They are required to take training before they can qualify for a gun permit, but once they get a permit, they are free to buy guns like Americans.

I think in some ways their laws may even be a little more lenient on gun ownership that some US states.

What the justice department, judges and juries are doing to J6 defendants is exactly what the British did to American protesters, and it is the reason why the Bill of Rights includes the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8 Amendments.

8th Amendment:

"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

This amendment is supposed to protect citizens from punishments that exceed the severity of the crime. Trespassing or protesting on restricted property should be a misdemeanor punishable with community service and fines, not months or years of jail times and certainly not no bail.
