What a fucking dismal off season. No 1st round pick and an absolute shit shit show of a coaching staff trying to prop up a bottom 5 offense.

The worst part about no 1st round pick is that trade probably saved Red's job. This season would have been a success if it cost Red Fraud his job. Instead it was just a tease and will mean The Clapper is around longer. 3-13 would have been better becuz Jerry would have been put in a bad way trying to keep his adopted Ginger step child around.

The offensive coordinator got fired, Beasethedouche, calm the fuck down or go drop another album or something. I like Bease well enough, but yeah feel free to find out what you're worth.

What do you guys think happens with regards to Zeke this offseason? He said he wants his new contract this offseason. I would be reticent to do that if I were the Cowboys. Do you think he might pull a Leveon Bell and refuse to show up if he doesn't get his contract?

I dont like paying RBs, even ones as talented as Zeke, and I do believe he is supremely talented. I'd try the tag here to and see if there is any drop off along the way.

Yep thats what many of us were afraid of, and exactly what played out. Now Jerry is talking even crazier shit than usual this off season.

And once he is shown to not be qualified to be OC, he will get promoted to HC. Deja vu all over again.

It is well known in the DFW media circles that if you don't kiss Jerry's ass then he won't allow you near the team. Perhaps the local media should grow a collective spine. If Jerry bans them all then there is nobody left locally to put a mic and camera in his ugly mug. No way Jerry could tolerate no attention for very long.

Amari Cooper said changing offensive coordinator is above his pay grade. “I didn’t have a problem with the offense. I liked where the offense was at. Obviously I was able to be more productive than I was in Oakland. I’m not one to complain about what’s going on.”

Well the 1st was Amari Cooper, and I have no problem with that considering how good he was.

I question this strategy too. I'd tag him again. Faded down the stretch with two back surgeries.

He's been healthy since the last back surgery, and I don't know that I agree he "faded" down the stretch. Dude was getting doubled a ton, sometimes doubled and even chipped too.

And not only is he a bigtime playmaker at DE, he also balls out vs the run. He's the best player on the defense and it's not even close.

I doubt we could franchise him again and have him show up on time for camp. I think he even commented on this at the end of the last camp.

Zeke isn't a dumbass though like some of these guys are. While I am sure he would love to get another long term deal now, they have his rights for two more seasons and there's nothing he can do about it. Does he want to hold out THAT long to get a new deal, and lose all the existing money plus whatever incentives he might have earned?

They'll probably compromise and they'll tell him he can get a new deal next offseason.
