Yep...same ol same ol with this team

They seriously cant get through one fucking practice without somebody breaking, twisting or pulling something

Hopefully he will be ok, but if he's gone that's basically the two most important players on the defense (Lee being the other, Lawrence because he was being counted on to provide outside/edge rush) gone before we ever set foot on the field in week one.

Except that the breaking, twisting and pulling doesn't happen to those worthless RKG "know the systems" roster lumps that I hope will get replaced by faster and more explosive players.

In other news, Romo is not practicing after the Cowboys just had a off day. Add into the report of Romo doing 4 hours of back treatment a day. I see Weeden and a long season ahead.

But Jerry said there was 100% no concern whatsoever over Romo's back

Team saying they don't think it is a high ankle sprain.

Was that Dr Jones prognosis or a real doc?

If it was Doc Jones, Lawrence's leg will probably be scheduled for amputation by Monday

Lawrence likely out half the season. Three best players from last years d gone and our highest draft pick on defense. Melton better be the second coming of Bob Lilly.

Lawrence, Melton and now McClain were the only defensive players I was really looking forward to seeing beast this season. This is why you don't trade 2 high picks to move up; we have no depth.

Don't worry. Lawrence didn't do anything last year for Dallas so nothing lost.

Defense still has to be better.

Just cause.

Anyone see the DLaw thread at CZ. Fucking arguing over what qualifies as being "carted off".

Really doesn't matter, with the luck this team had both picks would have gotten hurt anyway

Don't forget the looming Romo injury. Garrett will have yet another year of built in excuses. If he can just keep this team's head above water, he is here again next year.

Should have known FuzzyLumpkins would be picking that fight. Who gives a fuck if he was carted off or not? It's a broken foot. If he wasn't carted off, he probably should have been.

Also, have to laugh at all the guys over there saying they weren't expecting much out of Lawrence anyway this season. Defense can't be worse cause they were last in the league, can't get worse than last. Plus we got younger through dropping our guys, signing FAs, and the draft. Nvm that we just lost the guy we admitted to overpaying for to move up and get because there were no other pass rushers who we thought could make an impact week 1. Next man up, Martez Wilson.

34 sacks last year. 17 gone with Ware and Hatcher. And the guy we were at the very least going to rotate in on passing downs to give us a rush off the edge is gone for at least 6 games. Best case scenario he comes back in 8 weeks, 3 weeks into the season, and then the rookie has to get back in shape and make up for missing all of TC and preseason. At least 6 games of uselessness.

Lets all give Dr Jones some credit here, he was right on Lawrence it wasn't a high ankle sprain.
