They've definitely drafted extremely well and signed players that really fit what they wanted to do, and they have an excellent coaching staff.

They've progressed every year Carroll has been there and they have an excellent core. They should be contenders for the next several seasons.

I KNOW. Few of the players I wanted and hawking --- pardon the pun, for the Cowboys ended up with the Seahahwks.

This was the case with the final four teams this year. The Pats were one of the shittiest teams ever until they brought in Parcells and Belichick. Now they've been in the mix for over a decade. Niners, Seattle and Denver all recently blew until they brought in solid coaches and built from the top down. They'll stay relevant for years with that type of foundation. I'm sure Denver will go after a young QB at some point and have him groomed by Peyton. It's like all these teams watched Dallas and Washington and decided to do the complete opposite.
