Am I retarded for not being able to find a "Listen Online" link on that horribly designed site?

Edit... found it.

Recap of interesting stuff:

  • Were looking at Terrence go. Carr was important to us. Like him as a press corner.

    Vickers?
  • Been looking for another fullback. Wasin bidding for him last year. Brings element of physicalness/toughness. Will help us use TE's more in passing game instead of using them to block.

Middle of Oline? Answered during free agency?
  • We wanted to not be against the wall re: picking a position. Signed couple of guards who can step in and do some nice things. have some tread on tires, size/length. Costa and Kowalski don't have the size/length. Better to get the guards later in 1st or 2nd or third rounds.

    Interviews in Dallas
  • Important. Spend more time with players. Go over film, schemes. Figure out what kind of people they are and how they respond to meeting room experience. We find it very constructive and helpful.

    Who besides Kirkpatrick coming?
  • We're bringing in players we have an interest in, so we're not sharing names. Thanks.

Boring questions about Saints penalty and 'is the game changing'.. yadda yadda yadda

(Recapper note - Craving Chinese food for lunch. Boneless spareribs with pork fried rice likely)
End of interview.

Agreed. That, and the fact that he specifically mentioned how the new guards we signed have size and length, and stated how Costa and Kowalski both lacked that.

just in....got off the radio with a source.

Cowboys will look to trade down and take decastro at the bottom of the first round if he falls, also my source is telling me if he is gone we will take somebody different and then also take somebody different in the second round.

I will keep everyone updated as my source informs me....pm me for the really important stuff, I cant just give this shit away.

So I took from that that the team still has guard as a need, but don't want to be locked into the position early.

I think we take a guard in the top 3 rounds fo sho.

sounded like they dont want to take a guard as high as 14 if they dont have to....so either a different position or a tradeback is probably the plan of attack.

then we take a quincy carter and steal the show.

Scrap Decastro..Konz is our target..either in a trade down or a trade back into the 1st type deal

interesting? I've only been saying this for months.

Everyone knows that that is a sound drafting philosophy. Unless you find a can't miss gem (DeCastro), take guards later in the draft.

It's interesting to hear Stephen Jones openly say it though.

He's just like his dad. Talking right out of his ass like he knows everything. The OL sucks and it has for quite a while, Stephen.

This guy might as well change his name to Jerry Jones Jr. as far as Cowboys fans should be concerned. Pops was his mentor. That's like trying to learn how to see from a blind person.

there actually is a jerry jones jr, he is a stanford educated lawyer and works for the team in administration not in the personnel side of the business.

the ticket loves to goof on him.
