Garrett staying here means Jerry continues to act as GM.

Garrett being fired and a big name coach coming in means Jerry at least backs off some and lets the new coach put together his own staff and wield full authority in the locker room.

This is why I believe nobody is pulling harder for Garrett than Jerry. The last thing he wants to do is give up control.

I suspect Stevie boy may have something to say about dad having all the authority. In fact I doubt Jones currently has all the authority, and is probably going to have even less after this season is over.

While I do not want to witness another blowout loss. I don't believe in Garrett as a HC. This is a promotion of some sorts and there is no justification in him getting one. I do a shitty job at my job and I am on the soup line. I realize "something" had to be done.

Now, SBK is on to something about Jerry.. But, the only problem is. Jerry is not giving up the GM spot anytime soon. He will have to be 12 feet under, in ashes, with massive concrete piled above him before he does that. So, we are screwed. The Cowboys are screwed. I don't have any confidence in the Front Office, most of the players, and none in the coaches.

I am taking each game with a bottle of Jack, Baja Fresh and not being suprised by anything.
