I was right
$5.89 shipped

So the shipping was more than the book
Is that 1st or 2nd edition?

Either way there are a lot of life lessons in it.

Parcells' forward is a joy to read too by the way.

It said it was revised to include the 93-94 season
it was printed in 94

Is that the most recent ?

Just so we are clear...He can't do that and not be penalized by the team. It sets a horrible precedent for your team.

My take is that he is one of those guys who doesn't get the soft-as-baby-shit mentality Garrett and many Cowboy players have. I get being so mad at that pussy mentality that you lose your temper. He needs to be reigned way in, but he's not wrong for being pissed. The country club atmosphere from Jerry and the Tony Robbins impostor at head coach doesn't mesh with guys like Hardy, Charles Haley, Ray Lewis, Junior Seau, etc. who play pissed off.

You can't have a bunch of outstanding citizen, nice guys on defense. You have to have some thugs. The tough job is getting those guys to buy in enough to show some self-control. Garrett is incapable of that and Jerry is an enabler.

It's sad, I just saw the numbers for the game on the NFL network and we literally dominated in every stat. Except the one single stat that is the biggest deciding factor in the game. Turnovers.

Without the four turnovers it would have been a total domination of NY

and with the Hawks game coming up I'm sure turnovers are going to plague us again and we will lose that game again. One good thing is the NYG loss was the first time Carrot top has lost four in a row. The Seattle loss will make it five in a row.

When we lose I hope it's from a glaring weakness in coaching that can't be overlooked

But as I said before I don't think there is anything that Carrot Top could do this season to get fired!

Some media are already putting him on the hot seat.

I'd much rather ginger be fired than us make the playoffs. One optimistic point to keep in mind is that Jerry does give in to public pressure with coaching fires. He went from "not believing in firing a coach mid season" to canning Wade pretty quickly. Also let his boy Barry leave. I could see a miracle happen, particularly if we get smoked in one of these upcoming games. Would have been nice to get GB earlier on the schedule.

And indisputable truth: Romo can win without Garrett. Garrett, however, cannot win without Romo. Romo going down utterly exposed him to the rest of the world. We of course already knew he wasn't shit and have been beating that drum for years.

You and me both brotha. Last year was the worst thing to have happened.

I hope we lose every fucking game henceforth ---- including against the Redskins... IF , it means Garrett ends up gone.

I want to believe, but deep down I know we're married to the Red Fraud for at least four more years.

Sorry guys, we'll get nothing and like it.

What's worse, when Tony comes off IR and puts the team on his back again, people will start giving Garrett props for keeping the team afloat until Tony could return. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but unless we completely collapse before then, I know it'll happen.

How much more can we completely collapse?

In Romo's absence, we have lost 4 games in a row, 3 of which we had late leads.

Garrett's whole RKG, one day at a time, everything is rainbows, bs approach is being publicly questioned with Greg Hardy breaking clipboards and screaming at the ST coach on the sideline.

The circus is back.

Agreed. And it seems like Garrett is actually running out of ways to fuck up.

but .. but .. he changed the culture of the team. sure Hardy is attacking coaches, but at least he wears a suit on the flight home, which is all that matters.

Upon further thought, what we really need is ginger directly to screw something up so badly that Hardy has no choice but to either call him out or physically assault him. Once he says or does what everyone else is thinking, I could see the locker room completely fall apart. If there's a hint that ginger has lost the locker room, it'll be over for him. Especially with Romo out for another whole month.

I guess I think we're not really going to lose out with Romo gone. I do think we lose to Seattle this week because they look like they're getting their wheels back on, but I think we very well can beat Philly and then should beat Tampa even without Tony. That would put us at 4-5 and then Romo is back to kick ass. Plus Dez will be back and we'll be healthy overall unless something else happens. No one talks about it but other than Tony and Dez we're extremely healthy, especially on defense.

And most of all, I think Jerry's devotion to his red underling is stronger than anyone thinks. He didn't plot to hire this guy for a decade or more just to give up on him after a few years. Especially with a fresh contract extension. Jerry knows he has a guy who will follow the marching orders without complaint, and he doesn't want to go through the process of finding someone else again.

I'd love it if you guys were right, though.

Man, I tried for years to find that call online and shove it up Hostile's ass...

Was Hostile trying to deny jeri ever said this?

also, don't worry guys, hostile says we're still winning the division, guaranteed

I'm guessing it goes back to his claim that the HC actually runs everything, Jerry just takes orders, hung up on titles, etc. Here you have Jerry explicitly saying he's in charge.

Of course.

Right you are....

As for other instances of Jerry just being a figurehead GM, and Garrett actually running everything:

Brandon George ‏@DMN_George 1 hour ago
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on @1053thefan that RB Darren McFadden has earned the opportunity to start Sunday against Seattle.

Brandon George ‏@DMN_George Oct 25
Jerry Jones did say after the game he doesn't plan to change starting QBs again until Tony Romo returns, will stick with Matt Cassel.

We should have beaten the Giants. The Eagles appear to be tougher than the Giants. And Tampa Bay... see New Orleans. I can see us very well getting swept by the NFC South. That alone should remove Garrett.
