Dallas Cowboys middle linebacker Sean Lee will return after a two-game absence for next Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears, owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Tuesday.

Lee, who is second on the team with 93 total tackles, suffered a pulled left hamstring during Dallas' game against the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 10. He had been projected to miss three or four weeks, but he increased his rehab in an effort to rejoin the team sooner.

Jones confirmed on his twice-a-week radio show on KRLD-FM in Dallas that Lee, who leads the team with four interceptions, will return against Chicago.

"I think I have a great shot for returning next week," Lee said after the Cowboys' victory against the Oakland Raiders on Thanksgiving Day. "I have to put the work in and go through practice and go through the progressions, but I feel great [and] I should have a good shot."

The Cowboys (7-5) are ranked 27th in the league in run defense and have allowed 13 rushing touchdowns, tied for eight most in the league.

Jones also said cornerback Morris Claiborne (hamstring) is questionable to return Monday.

Says Jerry... Lee hasn't practiced yet, as the team won't do that until Thursday. I'm sure Jerry knows best though.

A pulled hamstring doesn't seem to be an injury that you can just come back quicker from by more rehab.

About 20 degrees gametime temp with possible precip... Sounds good for a recovering hammy. :/

If it's even close I wouldn't play him. I think we only need to win one other game besides the Eagles one.

Not to mention I can see him hurting it again chasing Forte around on those little dump screens they like to run.

Sean Lee is hustling to return to the field before the timetable of his return from injury is up, while Claiborne oomphs and ahs for 3 weeks. Just goes to show...
