Roy Williams misses Cowboys practice as Dez Bryant returns

Rookie Dez Bryant returned to practice Tuesday for the first time since late July.

Now, Roy Williams is the receiver on the sidelines. Williams sat out practice with a strained lower back and hip flexor. The back began to tighten up on him during the preseason game against Houston but didn't prevent him from playing.

The injury is not serious and is not expected to keep him out of the regular season opener against Washington on Sept. 12.

I'm hoping Williams has a speedy recovery. After 3 seasons he and Romo have such a good rapport.

I hope so. This starting because you get paid a lot of money is bullshit.

I'll give it until the middle of the season, the fans will continue to call for Roy's head.

Dez in the meantime will have us forgetting about him.

Roy's attitude doesn't help at all. In that article on the second page about him "hearing the boos" he says "That's fine. I'm the bad guy." What kind of attitude is that? Why don't you say "Well, I wish the fans had more confidence in me and I'm working hard to make sure last season doesn't happen." He says "instead of 'go back to detroit' I hope they say 'hey glad you're here'"

I've never disliked a palyer more than this. He comes over here for a 1st and a 3rd and another fucking pick, signs a huge contract, then takes it easy. He blows off Irvin when he tries to help, he doesn't learn the playbook, runs lazy ass routes, and then has this fucking attitude when everyone can't stand him. I'll be ready when this boneheaded move by Jerry, one of his worst ever as an owner, is finally over.

Exactly Jon, he's an idiot.

That's why I couldn't careless about the hazing incident.

Then he sits up there and pouts, claiming that he's still the #1 WR on this team---Austin is of course, becomes amo0ng the league leaders in dropped passes, then he tries to punk Dez by having him carry his pads, and when Dez refuses, he runs to the media and start a whole bunch of shit.

I was willing to give Roy the benefitit of the doubt this year until that mess.

Is he the one who ran to the media? I caught only a little bit of that story. What a bitch.

I salute Roy for going to the media with that. He should expose a bitch rookie. That shouldn't be swept under the rug.

The person that was wrong there was Dez Bryant. Not maybe. Definitely.

If I was Roy, I wouldn't give a rats' ass what the fans are saying. Most of the seats in that stadium are filled by morons. People who cheer Jerry Jones when they kick off camp every year.

WGAS what those idiots have to say? Worry about your coaching staff.

As a matter of fact I need to change the oil in my car, I'll use Roy's jersey to clean up the mess.

I wouldn't disgrace my dog like that.

I would clean the toilet with it and then throw it away. That would be the best thing to do I think.

Nah, my Dog would just roll around in the mud with it. Piss on it.
