If I had to pick the Super Bowl right now I'd go with Atlanta and New England.

This really feels like the Falcons' year.

No way on either. I'll be happy to make a bet with you that neither team sniffs the super bowl, in fact I wont be at all surprised if both teams miss the playoffs entirely.

The Falcons were a smoke and mirrors team that had several flukey wins during the regular season. Their defense is mediocre at best and they could easily lose a starter or two on the OL. They pissed away their draft on Julio Jones. They have 88 or 9-7 written all over them.

I think Dallas still has way to many issues to contend. I say we finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

NFC West: Seahawks
NFC North: Packers
NFC South: Saints
NFC East: Eagles

Wild Cards: Falcons and Lions

AFC West: Chargers
AFC North: Ravens
AFC South: Colts
AFC East: Patriots

Wild Cards

Jets and Steelers

Super Bowl: Patriots over Packers

The New York Jets end up the third best team in their division this year, and miss the playoffs altogether.

The Falcons secondary spends the year getting eaten alive, and the team immediately regrets taking Julio Jones and passing on secondary/pass rush help.

The Packers win their division by week 12.

Eli Manning has another 20+ interception year.

I'm with Rock. I feel this season had 9-7 written all over it. Cowboys still infuriatingly inconsistent and end up in third/second in the division behind those clowns in green, with Castillo shocking me by doing a pretty good job as their D.C.

I'm also going with a twofer for the Pack. Damned if Rodgers isn't frightening.

Also, for no particular reason at all, I think the Pats will equal the Cowboys record, the Texans will finally make the playoffs, the Lions reverse 2010's record and go 10-6, and Christ...the NFC West blows.

So you're saying that the Super Bowl winning Packers will miss the playoffs? Now that there is film on Viock and his tendencies and also the Eagles will be investing alot of money on Vick, it's doubtful that you will be seeing Vick run as much and risk an injury. The Eagles' brass willw ant to protect their investment.

Yes, I am, but I am not saying the Packers will have a bad season.

What's scary about the Pack is how many players they lost last year and still won it all.

I mean, just imagine Jermichael Finley in that offense this year.

Green Bay and Atlanta are the class of the NFC.

Atlanta probably wont even make the playoffs this yr, let alone be the class of anything. They were out and out trampled at home in the playoffs, and didnt look like they even belonged there. They had several lucky wins last yr, the odds they'll have that same luck this yr is slim. They dont have alot of talent on defense and their OL could take some hits via free agency.

Awesome.

So, anyway.....the Falcons and Packers are, IMO, the class of the NFC.

And when I say class of the NFC, I'm specifically talking about them being superior to the Cowboys.
