3 for teams where he might not like to go? Where as HC he really won't be as hands-on as an OC would be?

He's not going to be a OC at this point in his career unless he just cant get a HC job.

If he didn't get a HC position this offseason he might explore again next yr (even college) and if it didn't happen then, maybe he considers OC at that point. But it seems people still have genuine interest in him being a HC now.

Lewis as DC makes even more sense if they go the college coach route for HC, especially if it were someone like Lincoln Riley.

I'm sure there's genuine interest. But at this point it's a fair assumption Garrett is staying as HC. So if true, McCarthy ain't interviewing for GM or HC. How bout Assistant HC in charge of the offense?

He would be about as smart a hire as Lewis. At least we could count on not having a drop off in performance by going 8-8 for another decade with either one of them.
