We're 1-1. That's real. We lost a game on the road in a tough environment. Our offense played shitty, except for Dez. We didn't make the clutch plays you need to make on the road to win. We were -2 the turnover battle.

And we lost by one point.

I'd say 60-70% picked KC to win this game in the prediction thread. Why are you all up in arms?

Would you rather be the 1-1 Eagles who couldn't stop Eddie Royal at home? Would you rather be the 0-2 Giants with a QB who has thrown 7 picks in two games? Would you rather be the 0-2 Redskins who have been blown out twice and whose star QB looks scared when he throws? For this season, which team is in the best position?

We all knew this division was going to be up for grabs. It will be like this until the last week of the season.

Yeah I wish we could figure this shit out and dominate, but that's not what this team does. We lose games we should win, and sometimes we pull out wins when we have no business being in the game. It's a problem with the construct of the team. I'm not surprised yesterday's game turned out the way it did.

And we have 14 more weeks of this shit.

I'm ok with the loss after sleeping on it.

I just hope we lose enough to get rid of Garrett/Callahan, and get a decent draft pick.

Good thread

Its just incredibly frustrating. The team played the first 37 minutes or so about as good as anyone could have hoped.

The next 23 minutes were embarrassing.

We have six more years of this shit. Romo is going to be the QB for a long time. Even when he is gone we still have to deal with the worst GM in the league.

My issue isn't that we lost, but how inept we've looked the past two weeks.

I'm beyond frustrated that we have offensive minded head coach, and he and his QB have been working on the same system for 6+ years, yet our offense still looks like a clusterfuck.

I'm annoyed that this was a very winnable game that we pissed away.

I'm annoyed that Dez dominates early, and the defense finds a way to take him out of the game plan, and we can't exploit whatever weakness was opened with the Chiefs dedicating more attention to Dez.

I'm annoyed that we can't run for shit.

I'm annoyed that Tony Romo looks like a shellshocked, weak-armed old man.

I know the season is long and I'd rather start slow and finish strong than vice versa. Maybe that happens again. But we look like a mediocre football team. We have no strengths, really.

I mean, the Giants are 0-2, but they look better than us to me.

Eagles can score at will.

Redskins are a mess, no question.

Basically I'm watching the rest of the season rooting for Ware sacks and Dez stat padding. This year isn't going to end well at all though. And I could give a shit less if Garrett gets fired because it doesn't make a lick of difference as long as the idiot GM is still in charge.

It's a process.

Why is that so hard for some of you to understand.

I'm rooting for us to lose out. I want the stadium empty by year's end. I want Garrett fired. And I want the #1 pick in the draft so we can draft Jadaveon Clownface.

That's just it. The fact that the game was a toss up or a predicted defeat tells you nothing's changed. Yesterday was a good test to prove to us that things are indeed different, what with Callahan in charge and two old pros directing the defense, but they flunked. As Mid lamented, this is another season of rotisserie stats and hoping you beat the hated Skins twice. In other words, empty/symbolic victories.

We played like shit and looked like the same team since Wade Phillips took over.

What's the problem?

Tbf dez can't go full tits all game. Whether it be conditioning, too much muscle, or he's human. It's not as simple as "keep dezing it. all day baby"

I'd take Manziel. We'll probably pick in the top 5, top 10 for sure.

Hopefully we don't take another cornerback.

Defense closed out the game last week

Defense did its job yesterday. Can't ask for anything more. I'll take that performance every week
