They did, but we were always the team that got blamed for passing on Moss, not them.

We were the ONLY team that got blamed for it. And a bunch of teams didnt want to touch him.

Moss isn't washed up, its just that no one wants a WR who gives up when balls aren't going his way. If we picked him up teams wouldn't know who to cover between him, Austin and Dez. I don't want him here but I think it would put our passing game over the top.

He looked pretty washed up last yr.

The problem with Moss is, he's so ridiculously naturally talented, that he's never really had to apply himself. He doesn't have a natural work ethic, or is self-motivated.

If he had been, he would've eclipsed all of Jerry Rices records - or at least the lions share.

I wouldn't want him here. I'd hate for his lazy approach to rub off on any of our guys.

He looked jaded last year. I have no doubt that he can still play as a starter, I just don't think he has the attitude to do it.

Apparently 32 teams in the NFL dont agree with you.

And he's just about the last guy I want around players like Dez Bryant and Miles Austin.

32 teams do agree with me, he doesn't have the attitude to be a starter. That says nothing about his physical ability.

I'd sign him as the number 3 in a heart beat, but I don't think his ego would allow it.

If they thought he'd be a major difference maker, someone would sign him. There are some teams out there in dire need of a playmaker or another quality WR

This guy got no bites. His attitude is terrible, but anyone that watched last yr knows he just doesnt have it anymore. He was always pretty much a 1 or 2 route guy, and he aint THAT guy anymore.

My wife is a Pats fan, so the two games I watch every week are them and Dallas. Moss still had it before the trade to Minnesota, Belichick just wasn't willing to pay him and knew to get rid of him before his cancer started to spread. In Minnesota and Tennessee he reverted back to how he played in Oakland. No one is going to take the chance on signing Moss because of his track record of giving up on plays. His unreliability trumps his ability to still play.

Word is that now the Eagles have offered Moss a contract. And though it was not reported on this board, it was mentioned on another, that supposedly Moss reached out to the Cowboys. I don't know how valid it is, being that it was not fully reported.

With DeSean Jackson holding out and Jeremy Maclin battling a mystery illness, the Philadelphia Eagles could be in the market for a wide receiver.

And according to a tweet from Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald, a player that is currently off the market was recently given an offer.

Guregian, who covers the New England Patriots, tweeted Wednesday that after All-Pro Randy Moss filed his retirement papers, the Eagles made a bid.

Moss’ agent announced Monday that the seven-time Pro Bowl selection was calling it quits at 34.

Eagles coach Andy Reid downplayed the report regarding Philadelphia’s interest in Moss during a radio interview with The Mike and Mike Show on Wednesday, saying “I got wide receivers here that I think are tremendous.”

The refusal by Moss could be beneficial to the Cowboys. After all, he was 8-0 against the team that passed on him in the 1998 draft.

Basically all Jerry has to do from now on is say he wants a player and Reid will grab him. This could be awesome next year!

I don't understand the Eagles way of thinking this year, they usually don't sign these many players in free agency.

Only my opinion: It's a put up or shut up moment. The GM wants rid of Andy. So if Andy can't do it with this, then he's gone.

I said the same thing. Ifg Jerry hadn't shown interest in either Nnamdi or Cullen Jenkins, the Eagles wouldn't have pursued either one. That's a dumb way to have a free agency.

Well if you notice it's mainly on the defensive side of the ball. They have a former Olien coach that will now be running the defense, so I guess they feel they have to get him as much help as possible, while also trying to weaken the Cowboys as in their belief.

Jim Johnson would have never needed these players to make it work.

If they want to be rid of Reid, they'd be wise to merely trade him ala Gruden to the Bucs, rather than let him walk. I could see the Giants and Redskins going right after him if he was merely let go.

Yup, the only reason Philly signs players is cause Jerry wanted them.

Questions: what really happened on 9/11? Who shot JFK?

Question: which derelict(s) knocked up up the trailer park slut that gave birth to you?

if I knew that, I'd have a dad to play catch with.

My trailer park parents aside, do you really think the only reason Philly signed Namdi & Jenkins is because Dallas was interested?
