Let's see what everything thinks about the remainder of the schedule taking into account all of our injuries and suspensions as they sit right now. Let's assume we get everyone back on schedule.

What are you predictions for the remaining games? This is how I see/hope the rest of the season plays out barring any further injuries or suspensions.

We have 2 wins so far vs division rivals NYG and PHI

ATL - L
NO - W
NE - L <--- Hardy/McClain
BYE
NYG - W <---- Gregory
SEA - L
PHI - W
TB - W
MIA - L <---- Romo
CAR - L
WASH - W <---- Dez
GB - L
NYJ - W
BUF - L
WASH - W

So that leaves me at 9-7 with a clean sweep of our division going into the playoffs. We might actually squeak off one more win somewhere.

How do you all see the rest of the season playing out?

I have us at 4-3 without Romo. It looked more convincing putting it together rather than typing that out just now. Sigh.

10-6 overall. It think this can happen. There's rumors now that Brees has a torn rotator cuff. Even if it's not torn, he's most definitely playing injured. New Orleans is already bad. They'll be a terrible team without him healthy. We can beat Philly at home. They're already in shambles. Who knows if Kelly will even make it to November.

I am the opposite of optimistic about a Garrett/Weeden duo for these next 8 weeks. They're like a bad comedy sitcom pair who's show gets cancelled after the first pilot episode. Garrett has the special ability to make shitty players like Weeden, even more shitty.

Yet, our defense is solid and hasn't even peaked yet. I also am putting faith in C. Michael finally being activated and actually having an impact role. Marshall Faulk seems like the ultimate Cowboy hater and even he was high on this kid. We gotta give him a shot.

SEA - L
PHI - W

Sources: #Saints believe QB Drew Brees has a shoulder injury that will likely cause him to miss games, potentially several games.

MRI confirmed Drew Brees did not suffer serious shoulder injury Sunday, per @edwerderespn. Ability to play depends on response to treatment.

It's all gonna depend on how he feels. What's for certain is that he's finished as a top 10 QB in this league.

Unless The Hawks turn things around and get things figured out I think our defense will be able to keep us in that game to beat them again this year.

If they start clicking on all cylinders like we know they can then we barely loose that game

I'd be pretty happy with Wahoo's 4-3 w/o Romo idea, and I am reasonably sure the Cowboy people would be too. We'd be 6-3 with a lot of winnable games down the stretch.

Just my guess, but if they do better than expected w/o Romo I bet we don't see him or Dez until after the Turkey Day game vs Washington. Long week between games then plus an extra week or two beyond what they had wanted for injuries to heal.

I have a different take now that the obvious weaknesses of the offense (Randle, Williams, Streets, Linehan's running plays "with this offensive line" and Linehan's lack of actual strategy other than "giving Romo suggestions" like Collinsworth said) are combined with the injuries. Barely escaping the Giants and the Eagles really may cause the playbook to change, the rigid Jason philosophies to bend and the use of player talent to really emerge. Certainly, Cassel was brought in because he just came out of Norvs system last year (always the same pattern with Jason) but Cassel's weak but accurate arm makes him pick high percentage smart passes. My guess is unless Jerry really forces the running game and Linehan makes more use of Dunbar and McFadden, It's only a matter of time before Weeden is smacked or picked, out of his starting job. If they run and play to their strengths (rapid successions of run plays, quick throws and intermittent distance throws to the sure handed receivers) Weeden may be okay. But if they just have him make Romo's reads of Jasons playbook, I don't think Weeden will be in long.

But this kind of desperate situation should call for real coaching, desperate strategy and then theoretically, invention. There is a good chance that we will see new stuff here just to get through a game. And that, is cause for hope. I think they could go 10-6 now.

ATL - L (the Weeden experiment ends painfully)
NO - W (the age of Cassel begins)
NE - W <--- Hardy/McClain (Cassel knows the Pats offense and defense)

SEA - L
