We're going to see alot of roster moves in the next 10 days.

I think we'll see 1 or 2 DB's added.

Good chance we see an OL added, maybe even two. Not sure the starting LG is on the roster, and I'm not sure they could have seen enough positives in either of the backup T's to say that one of them could be the swing tackle on game day, and fill in at either position in a real game.

If Bennett is gone for as long as it appears 4-6 weeks, we may have to sign another TE

Still might see a veteran 3rd WR added

And I suspect that after seeing the defensive front spanked 3 games in a row, they might be looking for another veteran DL.

I suspect almost all of what you're suspecting won't happen. At most we'll try to bring in someone who could fill the swing tackle role.

Anybody have any ideas on trade partners for gurode? Baltimore has an issue at center and plays a similar offense.

I hope we can get something for him if we lose him..

It's too late to be messing with the starting lineups. What we're seeing right now is what we're getting with those units.

I think this team would be all over a mid level vet at corner or defensive tackle if someone pops up. Maybe even an inside linebacker.

Our inside linebackers have looked awful to me....I could be completely wrong and misunderstanding but they look terrible. Now Cummings is a high motor over achiever type but he doesn't look like a future starter.

Didnt say we'd see wholesale changes among the starters...I just said we'll see some new guys

It isnt just you, they've looked pretty bad to me too. So has Ratliff the past two games. And Brent seems to be struggling too. We are really weak up the middle right now.

Brooking looked done tonight too.

I wouldnt

Me neither.

But I'd give up a first for Ed Reed. Especially with how hard it's been to find someone to stick back there.

He probably only has a few good years left. That's how bad it's been.

Why sign another TE when we have Rucker?

I think we may see another T signed, but I definitely think Holland or Nagy is starting at LG.

As far as the defense's ineptness, scheme has nothing to do with it. The front seven continually gets blown off the ball, all of them. Ratliff may prefer playing NT, but he's not a NT in a 3-4 scheme. He's just not big enough.

And here's a bit of heresy for you: Demarcus Ware may rack up some numbers, but he's not the physical, disruptive force that Clay Mathews is. He gets handled by singled-up no-name offensive tackles way too much.
