Ronald Leary doesn't deserve to start next year.

Austin is playing his last downs in Dallas and it seems Spencer and Ratliff have already seen them.

We need Matt Johnson or draft another safety because we have one who is smart as well as dumb, but most of all, he is sloooooow.

I dont think Reed is a more talented guy, you were right saying that Red has no clue how to use him. I can't think of one good reason why Escobar can't be effective down the seam. Not one.

He's hell of a lot better than Hanna is.

Terrance Wiiliams made a great catch, but it was Romo scrambling and no one open that led to Williams "staying alive". I just can't understand why this is considered a standard well executed TD and not a continuing example that the offense is lacking novelty. It was a TD yes, but its not a success that is going to be replicated as "a play" called in the huddle.

I think one of the best plays in the game, was when Williams did a comeback on his route. Very impressive for a rookie.

Right. And I think perhaps along with it, the notion that running QBs can survive in the NFL for more than a season or two.

You know, you almost have to wonder when NFL GM's are going wisen up and give up on the idea of that style of QB play.

If you look at the most gifted atheletic QB's in the history of the game.... Bobby Douglas, Randall Cunningham, Michael Vick, Fran Tarkenton, Donovan McNabb & Steve Young... and only one of them has ever won a Championship.

Its just not sustainable. Not something you can build your team around. Not something you can rely on.

I don't know, with the rookie salary cap you might use them and leave them when their rookie contract goes out.

In legal news, the class action suit against the Redskin and NFL's use of a racist description as a team name has been dropped. New allegations arose following Sundays game against the Cowboys citing 3 counts of aggravated harrisment by the Dallas organization against the victimized Washington organization.

We are in such a distinctly different era now (rules changes have so drastically changed the game) that I don't think lessons from the 70's, 80's, and 90's are necessarily relevant now.

RG-III's success last year, before he got hurt, along with the successes of other very mobile young rookie QBs, shows that you can have immediate success with read-option QBs.

I just don't think that most read-option QBs can take the punishment over time and that they'll have a short shelf-life if they continue to run on a regular basis.

Steve Young should never have won a Super Bowl either.

Just my two cents...
