I doubt we make a trade either, but it wouldn't completely shock me considering how bad yesterdays loss was. I kinda agree with CMD that Jones needs some sort of positive news to help push how truly ugly that loss was to the backburner.

That said, I cant believe how much of a free pass the media is giving them so far on it. Its one of the worst losses we've had in recent memory, and was totally preventable with a simple coaching decision almost anyone else could (and would) have made.

The fact the media isn't all over this is somewhat telling of how insignificant the Cowboys have really become now. Its like yesterday's type of outcomes are expected and the norm now, rather than shocking and something that causes outrage.

Listening to sports talk radio today... all the Cowboys talk was how immature Dez supposedly is.

On another note, this poll got 18 votes. I think that's 3x as many as we normally get.

Props are due for forum admin.

Trent Dilfer was the only guy who I agreed with. He basically says there are two types of guys who play football.... guys who give a shit and want the ball when it matters, adn guys who love what football brings them in life, but shrink and don't want the ball. Said Dez is a passionate guy and he'd take him on his team any day of the week.

Colin Cowherd, Billick, Tim Hasselbeck, and a few others just ragged on what a distraction Dez is.

Cowturd is one of the chief retarded dumbasses in the media today...the fact he looks at it that way is even further proof I'm right to support Bryant

Was watching Fox Football Today and Glazer said GMs are crazy if they don't have Zimmer on their short lists next year.

Soon, dbair.

Agreed. Who do you like dbairs? Shaw?

Do you quit the team if Zimmer comes back as HC?

Love Shaw as HC, but I bet he wouldn't come to this organization the way its set up now.

As much as I hate Zimmer, he'd be an improvement.

One little tidbit that few may remember. In 2000 the Cowboys had a bad season defensively. Campo had Zimmer go spend a few weeks that summer with certain current members of our coaching staff (then Tampa DC Monte Kiffin and several of their assistants, including Marinelli) and Zimmer reportedly studied his style of defense extensively. The following year despite a horrendous offense led by clueless rookie Q Carter, the defense was markedly improved. We finished in the top-5 in yds allowed and only 5 times gave up more than 300 yds of total offense. We did finish at the bottom of the league in things like turnovers and sacks, but the defense overall was improved and Zimmer credited Kiffin with the changes he made.
