APCowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent, who is facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter in the death of his teammate Jerry Brown, was driving somewhere between 110 and 134 miles per hour before he crashed, according to police documents.

Police documents obtained by NBC 5 in Dallas say Brent was going at a minimum of 110 mph down Highway 114 and may have gone as fast as 134 mph at points around 2:15 a.m. on December 7, just before the crash.

Brent’s car was shown on footage from at least three surveillance cameras at a Dallas Area Rapid Transit station.

Police say Brent’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit. Brent, who is free on $500,000 bond, could go on trial this summer

He probably had to take a shit. Could've been turtle-heading all night. No one likes taking shits at the club.

Fuck Josh Brent.

Him and Ratliff could be drinking buddies on the unemployment line for all I care.

I really didn't even care one way or the the other about the situation when it happened.

But then the spin machine kicked into full gear about how Josh Brent was going to be supported because Dallas is the model franchise to help guys going through tough times. At that point I annoyed because it was all bullshit to save face for not wanting to cut a guy.

Now I'm just sick of the fucking story and having Brent or Ratliff on the roster next year doesn't guarantee anything. This team will likely be average either way. Just get rid of both of them so we don't have to hear about this shit anymore.

I don't get the outrage, he was clearly too drunk to know better. It'd not like he was juggling knives over a sleeping Jerry brown

Brent definitely wont be here next year.

Jesus titty fucking Christ you would hope not.

Only reason he is on the roster is because of the way the league handles this stuff, preferring to wait till the legal system plays out.

Even if by some miracle (for him) Brent got off lightly, the league is going to ban his ass for quite some time.

If they were to keep both Ratliff and Brent, then you can throw the whole RKG's logic right out the window.

Anyone who signs Deion, TO, Pacman, and Tank Johnson doesn't care about RKGs.

I almost wouldn't either. Other teams do it.

Plus he's the only guy we have to play the NT type position in this defense.

What an idiot. That stretch of 114 is already fucked, and going 110 is just dumb (even if you are sober).
