I'm guessing he misses at least one but probably two games this season

What are your thoughts on how tony will fare this season?

Depends... we get a premium back and return to that 2014 run heavy offense, and I could see him maybe playing 14-16. If we go back to a pass happy offense and I could see him missing four or more.

So hard to predict because his whole upper body has been beat the fuck up and he's been lost to some pretty innocuous hits.

I bet he stays very healthy this year. Just sort of the odds IMO. He still has a great OL and unless our front office goes totally brain dead again he should have a lot better running game.

Actually I think we have a very good year this year.

It will be a little interesting to see if he takes a dive when someone gets in the backfield like he has at times.

He revealed he tweaked his back again, week one last year and said it set him back to when he was first coming back from the original surgery. Will a year make a difference in that?

But yeah, hard to predict since you can't predict when a blitz is gonna nail him, or when he's gonna tweak his back getting out of bed the wrong way.

The big problem isn't that he's exposed to too many hits, it's that he couldn't take hits that weren't even that big last year.

It's impossible to have a QB never get hit. He has to be able to take some hits. Romo's collarbone hits weren't that brutal.

My answer as well. With Demarco's contract year, Romo stayed up right more often than not. If Dallas gets a back who can immediately contribute, Romo will be fine.
