Holy shit you are stupid. They were expecting much were conditions than they had. The issue as reported by ESPN was that they did not want to strand fans due to buried cars and impassable roads. I am not making this up.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5956740

I know what the official line was. I'm saying it's bullshat.

A football game should never be canceled due to snow. Ever. For any reason.

I guarantee that stadium would have been filled for the game. And they all would have magically made it home. Like they've done across all of the cold weather cities in the NFL since the league's been playing games.

The Governor's right. He knows the city, he knows the roads.

lol@hydroplaning on ice

Sliding then.

But you can't change the course of this conversation.

What is different about driving on icy roads in Wisconsin versus Pennsylvania?

I'm still waiting on your retarded answer to that.

First of all you have more people which means more people with little to no experience driving on ice. Then you take all of the issues with driving in a city and compound that with icy roads and you have your difference.

Uh, do ya know what more people driving does to roads in winter conditions?

Honestly, do you even drive? I'd much rather take heavily populated roads. That's why the highways are in better shape than the side streets, you dolt.

Philly has more drivers, more of a road crew and better roads.

You've basically made my case for me.

It's really simple. I've lived in the area my whole life. Only once have I ever remembered the city being shutdown by snow. And they weren't calling for four feet of it last night.

Sissy decision supported by sissies. Grow a sack.

Roads get worse with more driving, the snow gets compacted and slick. You really don't know what you are talking about. The highways are in better shape because they get attention first.

Wait....so if you have roads that are heavily driven on during a snow storm, you'll have worse conditions on those roads than if they are rarely driven on?

Answer that. I need to know exactly what level of ****** I'm dealing with here.

And this is even taking into account the vastly superior road crews in Philly. And the highways all around the area for easy access.

I'm loving this moron telling me about Philly conditions.

have you ever driven on unplowed roads? The compacted snow creates a layer of ice. It is better to be the first person rather than the 5th or 50th. Trust me, I drive over a snowy mountain pass regularly.

I've driven in all conditions. We have everything here. And you are far more likely to lose control traveling less populated roads than you would the major highways and streets you'd have to travel to get to that game. It's not even close. All major roads are constantly being plowed.

This is a ridiculous discussion. This storm was nothing. We get 3 or 4 of these every year. We get double this and people are still out traveling.

Nobody would know better than the former mayor of the city. And he just told you there was no valid reason to postpone that game.

But you know better.

I don't know better, I know what the reports said. Does the city go into a state of emergency 3 or 4 times every year as well? Frankly I don't care if the game was cancelled or not, I just think you are a jackass for always having to question authority no matter what their decision is.

I don't care what the report said. I'm thinking for myself.

And now comes the truth. You're just an asshole with an agenda. I knew it before you even started.

On your next mission, I'd suggest you come up with something better than Wisconsin roads being safer to travel than a major city like Philadelphia. It's my job to make you look bad, not yours.

I didn't say the roads were safer, I said they didn't have as many idiots driving on them.

Ah, that's right. The safer roads are the ones less traveled.

Ya know how when a major storm hits and all you see is people using the highways during it? Well now you know better. Take the side streets. It's safer.

wow... how about take the highway because its the only thing that has been cleared so far. I've never had problems taking the side streets but that is because my vehicle can handle them. I'm willing to bet anyone living in Wisconsin has vehicles well equipped for snow and ice.

That's right. We're all helpless city folk who never deal with winter conditions around here.

Thank God the authorities took care of us. We might have been killed.
