Yeah I do too. Their defense is gonna squash that offense. The sacks we missed, the chances at the ball in the air that we missed. They wont miss.

Yep the Packers faced tinfoil (Church and Wilcox) to now facing the platinum standard (Thomas and Chancellor). But even moreso... they are going up against far better coaching.

Romo should have recognized that they didn't get the first down legitimately, and should have rushed up and ran a play

:facepalm

good lord, now Tony is supposed to be clairvoyant. from his vantage point, there's no way Tony could have assumed that. nor was anyone on the bench imploring him to do so.

Jason Garrett is essentially a free agent at this point.

And there are what, 5 or 6 teams looking for a head coach.

I bet no one even tried to interview him.

And that should tell you something right there, it should tell Jerry something. Here you have a 13-win division-champ HC --- on the surface, and as a free agent, no team even called for an interview? I don't know what the pretense is all about from Jerry, we know he is going to re-sign him.

Uh, not saying that at all idiot. I've seen alot of QBs recognize that they didn't actually get the first down and they would rush to get a play started before the opposing coach can challenge. I've seen Brady and Manning and even Rodgers do it a few times. Doesn't require clairvoyance. He can see the first down marker, correct? And he can recognize that Witten didn't really get the first --- we did. So he could have ran a quick play before it got challenged.

Well genius first we'd have to give someone permission to interview him, we have exclusive rights for 3 days.

Second, pretty sure every team knows Jones intends to keep him, and Garrett is already on record saying he wants to stay.

Even if somebody WANTED to get at him, is Jones going to give up his exclusive rights period? No

Darryl Johnston already talked about this, I guess you assume you know more about the league and what goes on within it than him.

That usually involved questionable catches or potential fumbles though, not spots of the ball

And no, Romo cant see what we see on TV

no, they usually rush to the line before a controversial catch can be reviewed. and Garrett called a timeout before Romo could do anything, idiot.

That doesn't keep teams from efforting to get coaches they want. Figure the mind of a billionaire NFL owner. You don't get to be that successful in life by giving up easy and/or not pursuing what you want.

Hell, it was plain as day Harbaugh was going to Michigan but the Raiders still made efforts to talk to him.

As far as Moose - hell of a fullback. Hell of a commentator. Never known him to "break" stories.

And no one else has uttered a similar story. So excuse me if I don't put a lot of weight behind what Moose said about his friend and former teammate.

.

The reports for weeks were he was torn between going to Michigan or going elsewhere in the NFL.

When have we EVER ran up to the line and ran the next play in a timely fashion? I see Manning and others take advantage of 12 men on the field, and get the penalty. Even if we run a "hurry up" offense, it still seems slow to me. Do y'all feel that way too?

Honestly, I think the Cowboys win had the Calvin Johnson rule not been invoked.

That particular play to Dez was in keeping with the character of this particular Cowboys team. This team was very good at getting the big clutch play when they needed it. It would have made sense for them to have taken the lead after a spectacular clutch 4th down play to Dez ....

So I don't know that I have too much trouble with the coaching overall. I think the coaching was good enough to win a playoff game on the road, if not for a nonsensical rule.

Sure, had the coaching been perfect, the team could have won despite the Calvin Johnson rule. But the same could be said of several other aspects of the team (e.g., had Romo been perfect, had Murray been perfect, etc.).
