even if everyone who drove smoked weed the results would be the same.

I have zero problem with weed. I think it should be leaglized yesterday. One of the reasons I chose my current position at work is now I am no longer eligible for random drug tests.

Um, I beg to differ... I've been pulled over and given multiple warnings for going under 5 mph over the speed limit. Your reaction time isn't markedly different when you're going that much over the speed limit. Most people who speed don't go 15 mph over the speed limit. I'm not arguing weed is dangerous. It's not any more dangerous than alcohol is. When it gets dangerous is when people under the influence do things that they shouldn't, like drive.

I don't know. It's your point, you figure it out. I have the law on my side in this one until proven otherwise.

I'll give the basic answer.. many more people die each year from car crashes resulting from one or more parties speeding than do people from smoking weed.

Also, i don't know anyone who's ever been pulled over and given a ticket or warning for going less than 5 mph over the speed limit. That is the ridiculous thing, to me.. and you say you've had that experience multiple times too.

comparing how many people die from car accidents to those who die from weed is not really fair. Far more people drive and they
drive daily. Much bigger chance of incident.

There's also alot more factors to contend with on the road and speeding impairs your ability to safely maneuver on the road should something happen where you have to make a quick maneuver to avoid it.. and im sure we all know how much that can happen with someone pulling into your lane out of nowhere or someone pulling out in front of you, etc, etc..

If everyone smoked weed, the only way the death totals would even be close to those that result from speeding is if people chose to drive while high. Just smoking weed by itself would not cause even close to the same amount of deaths.

So what?

I got pulled over three weeks ago Sunday for going 73 in a 70. Just a warning, but I got pulled over. If I had been going the speed limit I wouldn't have been pulled over, so technically I was breaking the law. And it's happened before.

Really?

For some reason, I always assumed you were white.
