be real cmd he is a fucking terrible QB. Like a worse Drew Bledsoe. USC can't produce QBs to save their life.

Palmer just doesn't give a shit. Talent is (or at least was) there. But he never seemed the same after that ACL injury and probably being in Cincinatti sucks the life out of you.

Still, if I'm a Cardinals fan, I'm more excited about this move than I would be if on draft day I heard "With the X pick in the first round, the Cardinals select Geno Smith/Ryan Nassib/Matt Barkley/Any QB not named Tyler"

Palmer's been good when healthy. Fans want to hold it against them that he told Mike Brown (poor man's Jerry Jones) to go f himself. Even though the Bengal fans told Brown to go F himself and stopped buying season tickets until he steps down. He had zero weapons in Oakland. Damontre Moore was nice but got hurt. McFadden is as durable as Matt Johnson. I like his chances in AZ.

Leinart is the only recent Trojan QB to truly be a bust IMO. Cassell was a 7th round pick. Sanchez took the Jets to the AFC championship his first 2 years. I think the book's not done with him yet. Barkley will be an above avergae NFL starter.

I mean excuse after excuse but Palmer has always been that guy who will throw 4 TDs and 3 picks to keep the other team in the game. He makes bad decisions and has mediocre accuracy, but a great arm that he trusts too much. He is basically Drew Bledsoe's twin.

Again, about 90% of football fans think the same thing about Romo.

Yeah except Palmer's qb rating is 10 points lower than Tony's. He throws for almost a full YPA less and has thrown more INTs than he has played in games.

Could go on and on but there's a huge statistical drop off between the two.

Dez, Witten, Austin, DeMarco > Raiders "weapons" ?

I think he'll have a big year in AZ assuming they can keep him upright.

dude just stop it. Romo produces no matter who is on the field. he threw a game winner to fucking 4th and long with a broken rib. Don't you dare equate the two.

you have a rooting interest in Romo, as do I. I think Romo's the better NFL QB. I'm just saying that your perception of Palmer matches the majority of people's opinion on Romo. I think they and you are wrong.

I'm not arguing against Romo, I think the guy is a magician who finds ways to win despite zero help from the sideline, the front office, and the O line. I think Palmer will produce better numbers throwing to the likes of Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd, handing off the ball to Mendenhall, and with Bruce Arians calling the plays. We'll see, wouldn't be the first or last time I was wrong.

Yeah but reality between the two doesn't match. Romo consistently performs at a much higher level. You're just making up this fantasy land where if Palmer could play with Ochocinco, houshamazilly in his prime and an undead Chris henry every year he'd be doing the same thing. Maybe Palmer could try making the players around him better and not trying to strongarm balls into triple coverage over the middle.

I've always liked Palmer... always thought his greatest asset was his leadership skills too. For a 7th I think the Cards got a steal.

Like CMD said, get him an oline and Arizona might possibly have something there. Everyone knows his situation in Oakland was a very shitty one.
