Well, you went to Glenn Beck for Conservative talking points, the man was on CNN prior to Fox and really has no official stance on Republican or Democrat. To throw conservatives under the bus, because Glenn Beck says something is about as uninformed on Conservatives as one can get.

Britain has 11 parties represented in parliament. Germany has 6. They both run parliamentary systems and we in no way have moved towards that. Further claiming that "more we move toward their types of systems, the worse the Country gets" is unsubstantiated bullshit. The British and German economies are the two most successful in Europe. If you are going to make such statements then specifically what policies have we implemented that are in either country that we have implemented and made things worse? The only one you mention is the defense budget and that example is that they are doing a better job and making better decisions.

I agree that spending 40% of our budget on the military is a bad idea but I fail to see how governments that do not do that and their success are a bad idea to emulate rather than stick with our status quo. They are still much much more representative and diverse politically.

Asserting that public schools are a bad idea for all they have "failed the youth of this country for the last 30 years" is just stupidity.

Since they do not have to spend any money they don't wish to on Military, because we keep them all safe as bugs in a rug without taking any payment for doing so means that they can spend money on other things.

I could give a shit about Appalachia. I'll go one further, I could give a shit about LA and the aqueducts as well. Environmentalists want something to champion? How about turning the water off to LA how about not trying to tame mother nature at all. Since we are constantly reminded how fucking stupid that is. Katrina... Ohio... the list goes on, happens about every 4 to 6 years.

They have. Private educations are far and away superior to anything they are trying to attempt to teach in public schools and has been. Hell, Home school educated children test higher and with private tutoring and baseball, football, and soccer clubs taking over - because they passed a law saying you have to let just as many girls play a sport as boys and it has to be fair. How? How is it fair exactly? Life isn't fair... Our public schools teach children they are never wrong, can do anything they want, and give a trophy for coming in 10th place.

Are you daft? Pointing to a policy that they have that is superior to ours that allows them to function better is not an indictment. It just means that they are doing a better job.

Again making it all bout you. Policy makers should not have that luxury. Fact is without the TVA Easter KY, TN, West VA etc would be even more backwards fucked up it already is. The TVA did a tremendous amount of good for those regions for all that you want to look at your particular place and not give a fuck about anyone else.

And are you really proposing to get rid of public schools. Who would have ever thought that private schools funded by wealth Americans would be better than public schooling. Now how about you get to the part where its a good idea to get rid of universal education.
