No way this team folds due to character and only wins 4 games with a healthy Dak. There's too much talent for a 4 win team and a healthy QB, especially in a weak NFC East.

I mentioned more than Lamb but he's the only one you mentioned. And I didn't include Shultz who we gave franchise money to. There's enough talent for Dak to throw to.
Where's all this "talent" everyone keeps saying we have? I just don't see it. A couple of bits and pieces here and there on defense. Really weak receiver room. Terrible o-line and NO depth in either. Our personnel is league average. While the rest of the "weak" NFC East got better, we stood pat.

I didn't see you mention anyone. The receiver room is terrible.

We burned a 1st round pick on Lamb, a 3rd on Tolbert and extended Gallup. We also picked up Washington. Cooper just didn't fit here at the end of his tenure and his stats were underwhelming. The biggest blow is Smith at LT but he hadn't played a full season in years so this season will be nothing new. More players are going to go down as the season progresses. If you have a true franchise QB, you'll still be in the hunt.

The receiver room is terrible. Again. Still.

The o-line is horrid and with zero depth. We don't have a LT who's ever taken a NFL snap.

Got some worthwhile talent sprinkled here and there on the D.

Four wins total wouldn't surprise me. That's not to say I'm predicting it. Nine is the prediction. Nine is the best we'll do.

Don't agree with you in the least about WR.

Jury is definitely out on the OL. It's clearly unproven and I do think they need to bring in one quality veteran for sure.

The defense is legit and the special teams will be good.

Barring a rash of injuries like 2020, this team is winning double digit games.

It wouldn't surprise me if they win double digit games. It also wouldn't surprise me if they win 9 games. It would definitely surprise me if they win only 4 games with a healthy Dak.

What y'all are saying is reasonable. I just have zero confidence. None. From the idiot owner and his offspring to the fatass slob of a HC to the moron "boy genius" fancy-pants OC to the entitled, comfortable veteran players who have no fucking pride and no heart, and no scroat.

30 years ago here we were, the '92 campaign was about to be underway and I had nothing BUT confidence.

I had more confidence the year they went 1-15 because the writing was on the wall and you could tell it was only a matter of time, then they more than exceeded my wildest expectations

and then the idiot owner took a huge dump on the entire operation and the stank has only gotten worse

Actually, we got worse in many areas and better in some.

I honestly don't feel like we got noticeably worse. Cooper is probably the biggest loss becasue he was still a really good player and Gallup is injured. Collins was garbage last yr IMO and really hasn't been a "good" player for a few seasons now. Gregory could never be counted on and his one decent season he amassed a whopping 6 sacks. The backup PT guy had nearly that many on his own. I see those guys as addition by subtraction.

Tyron Smith is a huge loss though, so if you solely look at the offense and point to no Cooper and no Tyron, y7es we appear worse there. But I do think the defense got better (and deeper) and the ST should be pretty good.
