Big whoop! Our 6th rounders aren't full time starters! They aren't supposed to be. They are supposed to be depth guys. Which is exactly what some of them are

117k claims aside, I doubt much of anything has changed since Garrett took over. Which is one reason Jerry wanted him as HC.

Bruce Carter... Please, that was longtime cronies Lacewell and Butch Davis. Murray? Barry Switzer... Plus w had Mikel Leshoure ahead of him.

Etc.

To be fair those players all fell in the draft due to nagging Injuries.

I don't mind a gamble on a big-time talent who fell due to injuries but that shit is why you were able to take them there. It's part of the deal. You can't cry about your luck. It's like taking a kid who fell 3 rounds b/c he's a trouble-maker then cry about bad luck when he beats up his gf.

Go back at the 2010 draft and 2011 drafts and put the huge list of players we passed on who totally would've been better than Lee and Carter.

Theres like three names, and then you start reaching.


As far as Lee? Yeah, he's missed a lot of games. Sure. But he's had such an impact in the games he has played. As in, he hasn't just wracked up a lot of tackles, etc. He's made game changing turnovers, that we likely don't win without. Fuggin 34 ILB leading the team in INT's and pick sixes and shit.

I dont care if he's only an 8 gamer the rest of his career, so long as he has an impact in those 8 games that hes had the past two years. Dominant as a mothafucka

yeah it's hella fun playing 8 games with Sean Lee and then 8 games with some scrub who is lost on the field. Having that sort of dropoff rather than consistent play from a solid player at the position couldn't possibly be one of the reason we suck.

right there was no dropoff between Carter/Lee and Sims/Connor/whoever. We got murdered over the middle of the field for the entire second half of the season for no fucking reason whatsoever.

There was a dropoff, Mr. Hyperbole, but neither Connor nor Sims was "clueless" back there.
