8 yds on first down then pass with a gimp 3 straight times...........

2013 flashback all over again.

Romo is a warrior but they should have played do or die with Weeden the rest of the way.

Ask Gruden, he said it before I did.

Romo looked like he never recognized the blitz on a lot of those plays. Its his job to make the reads/change the play/set the protections.

He called Murray for multiple misses on blitz pickups. The hit that hurt Romo and the fumble play at the end. Murray was pointed out in both by Gruden.

Well fuck... you can only block so many people with 5 guys. It doesn't matter if you recognize 7 guys coming or not, if you're going 11 personnel, no amount of recognition can block 7 guys.

Don't get me wrong, Romo didn't lose the game. The defense deserves plenty of blame, as do Randle and Murray for losing two bad fumbles.

Murray had a stellar game otherwise, but his fumble cost us at least 3, and probably 7 pts.

Colt fucking McCoy completed 80%+ of his passes and most of his receivers were wide open the entire night.

The tackling was atrocious.

Plenty of blame to go around here. Team was poorly prepared and apparently made no adjustments on either side of the ball the entire game.

Yep. Tony is a helluva man with a fighter's heart. But you gotta also know when to stay in the corner.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. As I'd feared. I should have listened to my inner Jimmy.

By the way, pulling Weeden when he was productive was a dumb call Jimmy never would have made.

Yeah, that was a bad organization decision, and we know who made it.

He (decision maker) trotted right down to the sideline and told the HC to let Romo go back in.

Here's a big HELL NO to signing Murray after this season. Sorry .... too many negative plays.

What in the fuck is going on with all the Colt McCoy love?

It's like he's a fucking make a wish cancer kid and everyone is being extra nice to him.

Did I miss something?

Yep... Murray had a 25 yard reception on a dump off after he missed a blitz pickup too. Just let a free rusher go.

But that Romo. He doesn't throw an interception, but we lost, so dbair has to find a way to blame him.

And that's why you make them pay with screen passes or dump offs. SIMPLE. That's what any OC/HC would do. They certainly wouldn't leave their QB exposed like that.

The sacks allowed weren't physical, they were mental.

Romo got totally outthink tonight. Gruden was spot on in saying most (if not all) those blitz sacks were on Romo

And yet we were in it until the end. We got outcoached. Period. Sure, Romo didn't have his best game but Colt fucking McCoy says hello. Disgraceful.

Don't know why protecting the football at the end of plays is such an issue here.

That said, it is frustrating to me to see them blow a guy down by contact when the ball is clearly being stripped out (NYG game last week) and every week see them let 3-4-6 guys pile on Murray and extend the play for several seconds after he is going nowhere over and over.

That's just the shittastic 2014 MNF/ESPN for you. Has to be a drama-filled narrative every week.

People. Even if Weeden was in there... Garrett still calls a pass on 2nd and 2.

After being a fucking career backup, he's now trying to QB this team from the HC position.

I blamed the whole team genius. And it was a 100% team loss.

Plenty of blame to distribute after an ugly effort like that.
