By quick you mean coming back for the 2015 season.

Rowan Kavner @KavnerDC
Jerry concerned Mo tore his knee. Hasn't heard anything confirmed yet.

I meant Carter, not Claiborne when talking about coming back

Carter we need back Claiborne could get his leg amputated and not play worse.

Moore has been outplaying him anyway.

Patmon will be active as 4th CB now I would think unless they go out and get another vet to take Claiborne's spot

As much as I'd love to believe things might be different, I still have to see more.

If they come out flat as a pancake and blow it next week vs Houston then its same 'ol same 'ol there.

If they come out and take care of business and win without it being some sort of fluke, well maybe I will consider starting to think this year might be different.

The defense still needs to improve some.

Never understood why they kept letting Moore go. He doesn't do anything spectacular but he has been solid every time he has donned a Cowboys helmet and much better than the fodder we have tried to hang onto at CB position the last 3-4 years.

Nothing has really changed except Tony looks completely healthy and we haven't had many injuries, plus the zebras have been kind.

We have elite offensive talent and average defensive talent, but if that defense stays healthy and the offense helps it out by getting leads, there's no reason this team can't be pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.

If Garrett hadn't skullfucked away three to five games the last few years, we'd have made the playoffs two out of the last three years, or maybe even all three. Thank God Linehan is running the O now.

It seems the team might finally have an identity now: tough and physical.

Hopefully Redball sees the light and ditches his offensive philosophy for good to stick with the one we've seen these last 3 weeks, and especially tonight.

Might have the makings of a pretty decent front 4 when Spencer and Melton get up to speed physically and Lawrence gets healthy. To add to an already impressive Tyrone Crawford.

It's actually nice to see us putting pressure on the QB while only rushing 3. A lot of that is due to Crawford.

Spencer was a big ball of nothing tonight

I saw a couple of good things tonight from him. He was able to set the edge against the run. Saw him break through the line twice to stop the RB short.

That's his game. He's never been the greatest pass rush threat.

I think it would be gravy if he could contribute 5 or 6 sacks.

He made a nice stop on a run play and went right by their tackle on another

The big thing with him is how is the knee going to hold up, assuming he doesn't have any set backs he may be a positive addition again once he really gets his legs back and gets in game shape.

Tyrone Crawford had what looked to be a pretty good game.

Melton got his first full sack as a Cowboy, and I saw where Jack Crawford is actually credited with a sack on the fake punt play. J Crawford had a couple of nice rushes as well when he was on the DL.

Pretty impressive win. Started getting "that feeling" after the Saints scored twice but the ST came through by squashing that fake. With the guys we used to have out there coaching ST that probably would have been a gimmee play a few years ago.

Our OL is outstanding. Murray is outstanding. Romo has really turned it around, I have to give him a ton of credit. He looked like the end really was there two weeks or so ago. Threw the ball great again tonight and that 20+ yd run was good to see. That's two weeks in a row he's had a huge conversion with a run. Last yr and the first two weeks of this yr he didn't even think about that kind of play.

Bout time for CMD to admit we raped the Niners in that trade down too. Fred's a probowl C for the next decade. T Williams is a really, really good WR as well. Probably better than a number of teams #1 guys.

For all omegasupreme's griping about our lack of track speed at WR. All one needs to do is take a look at Chip Kelly's Eagles. Supposedly an offense built around big, explosive plays in the passing game has not a track guy among the top 3 of Maclin, Matthews or Racist/My Hero at receiver.

Offensive playcalling tonight...35 rushes, 30 passes...only 1 sack allowed

held the ball almost 35 mins and had 190 yds rushing...had a couple nice runs wiped out by holding calls too otherwise we might have had 225 or so

I mean, what do I know, but I don't see why he hasn't been an inside player all along. He just looks a lot more like an inside player than an end. He's too thick and blocky to be an edge rusher.

I would have thought coming off the Achilles tear it would have made more sense too...I hope they leave him there now and see how he can develop

pass rush obviously still needs work but the run defense was good tonight except for the one fuckup play that they gave up that 62 yd run on...otherwise gave up 42 yds on 13 carries...pretty solid there

He doesn't possess any qualities of an edge rusher. That's why all along I insisted when we moved to the 4-3, that he should have been our 3-tech.

So I guess Melton might be just a rotational player.

who forced the last fumble, the one that should have been a defensive TD?

And did McClain force that other fumble on Graham or was it Durant?
