Good first post, but I disagree with the notion that you can find a decent corner in free agency without breaking the bank.

Corners seem to be some of the highest paid, and often times most over rated players in free agency. What I mean is, their play never seems to be justified with their new team.

And regarding Jenkins being a leader, #1 corner, etc... some in the Dallas media (Bryan Broaddus specifically, and at least one more guy who I'm not entirely sure who) have said that they've heard that the team isn't as high on Jenkins, and that he "isn't a Garrett guy."

Take from that what you will.

Its hard to say what a Garrett guy is and I don't know why Jenkins would be considered not one.

Did they elaborate on why he is not a Garrett guy?

I was wondering this as well. A guy that was banged up all season and still gave it his all---more than all the other players in the secondary combined, what is there not to like about him? I know he may not have been a Garrett guy when he was first drafted and his first couple of years because while having talent he lacked effort, but this year, he really turned the corner---pardon the expression.
