$227 million
So let's say he can keep 75% of that after taxes. That's $170,250,000. Bill Gates used to make that in less than 14 days doing nothing. I'm not exagerrating. He used to wake up and be $13,000,0000 richer every day.
$227 million
He is doing a tremendous job as a business owner. Not quite as well as a GM.
Last season the Cowboys generated $500 million in total revenue, a record for an American sports team, and posted operating income (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of $227 million, $108 million more than any other football team and more than either the entire National Basketball Association or National Hockey League. A prime example of what separates Dallas from the league’s other 31 teams is the more than $80 million in sponsorship revenue Cowboys Stadium rakes in from companies such as Ford Motor, Bank of America, PepsiCo, Dr. Pepper and Miller Brewing, almost $20 million more than any other football team. Sponsorship revenue, unlike the NFL’s national television fees with NBC, Fox, ESPN and CBS, are not shared equally with the other teams.

The fans. He's so full of shit.
Yep, that's all it is. Just bad luck. We're really so close.
He's getting more delusional if anything.
I mean, honestly guys, a couple injuries here, a few bad calls there and we'd be that successful!!!!
He's getting more delusional if anything.
Thursday: Garrett coming back in 2014
Friday: Jerry will remain GM forever
has the fan-base had two worse days?
The draft in 2001 comes to mind.
I'm not worried because I'm putting my money on actuary tables.
Of course, there is this odd trend whereby people who hit a certain age actually gain some life expectancy. I can't remember where it is but it's basically because their natural disposition was healthy enough to reach a certain age that they typically overshoot the expectation by a good amount.
