Would like it much better had he completely kept his hands to himself. What's with the touchy-feely shit?

Also, pay attention from the start - he's hanging around like a stalker, like he's waiting for her. Like he saw her earlier and is now waiting to pounce. It's not a good look. He looks like a predator.

Correction - blowing it up and watching again. That's not Irvin acting like a stalker. Irvin comes breezing in and encounters her. 11:12 PM.

We obviously don't know what he said to her but that is that really enough for someone to lose his/her job and what little reputation they had left? A short interaction and even if he made a move on her, what ever hapened to just saying no and moving on? Everyone is so easily offended.

What bugs me is he lied about it. He said there was NO physical contact except for a handshake. Video shows him a liar.

Looks like she DID say no and he wouldn't let her move on. That's the arm and elbow grabbing.

What happened to a man who is famous and knows the deal, knows he's a walking target, having a modicum of self control? 98 percent of them do and manage to fucking stay out of this kind of trouble.

No one can stay out of this type of trouble. It's not uncommon. Is the elbow touching too much? Maybe. Is it worth losing a job over and/or being sued? Absolutely not. It's BS....

98 percent of famous men DO manage to avoid this crap.

Irvin admits he'd been drinking. The woman was a Marriott employee and was working. Irvin had already lied about the encounter. He'll get his day in court, he sued them.

He was never anyone's example for self control.

I look at the incident, not the person, per se. Yes.....Irvin has had issues. But this incident isn't one of them. It's lame.

And.... Watch the video. He wouldn't let go of the handshake!

Didn't we all learn in elementary school to keep our hands to ourselves?

Women should just tolerate the cave dwellers among men? The pigs? I for one am glad they have some power now. If I were this woman's husband I'd be headhunting.

Not saying it's appropriate but that's still not the level or the grounds to destroy someone, even if he's famous and should know better. And if you'd go headhunting for that.....then you have thin skin.

Just missin' the good ole days when men could be outright pigs with no chance of consequences. All the woman did was report the incident to her employer. And nobody's been "destroyed."

If a mother fucker makes passes at my wife, and I see that video where he's pawing her and keeping her from walking away, he's gonna be picking up his teeth with broken fingers. UNLESS there's worthwhile consequences otherwise.

We live in a better world where pigs like this face consequences. Surely you can see that.

Have you even watched the video? I'm no fan of Michael Irvin but but they're engaged in conversation for a few minutes after the devastating elbow tug. It must have been devastating because you'd go head hunting over it. After a few minutes, he shook her hand and they went on their way.

Irvin's name has literally been dragged through the mud and it affected his job. His employer also took actions to remove him from their SB line-up. All because of an elbow "tug." I'm not the morality police and if Irvin wanted to hit on the lady, that's between him, his wife, and the lady in the video. Yeah, maybe he was lewd. I'm guessing if a guy said somethng to my wife that is so outreageous, she'd leave or walk away. Not sit there and engage in coversation and then complain about it afterwards.

We've all seen lewd and bad behavior, especially by drunk people. This wasn't it, at least from the video. It's he said, she said and the only loser here is Michael Irvin.

So.... You'd award him the 100 million he's calling for? That's not a silly amount seeing he didn't lose his job or any salary? NFL Network and ESPN simply said, "we're not having this pig on TV this week." Why is he not suing them? Oh yeah because they didn't fire him.

And, watch the video with a more critical eye and you'll see the lady was trying to politely and professionally disengage, and he wasn't allowing it.

The lady could have walked away, especially if Irvin was drunk. It's what most normal people do. Marriott could have let it be....but they didn't. I'd sue for 100 million as well. Both the lady and Marriott. Irvin is tainted. Was he tainted before? Sure....but he was back and working. This will affect his career. It would certainly affect yours and mine.
