More deals cut for Obama's big business partners. Still screwing the little guy. Thanks Bamster. The Occupier of the WH does not want 75 million insurance cancelations right before the mid-term election. He and his ilk are chicken shit frauds.

Most employers won't face a fine next year if they fail to offer workers health insurance, the Obama administration said Monday, in the latest big delay of the health-law rollout.

The Treasury Department, in regulations outlining the Affordable Care Act, said employers with 50 to 99 full-time workers won't have to comply with the law's requirement to provide insurance or pay a fee until 2016. Companies with more workers could avoid some penalties in 2015 if they showed they were offering coverage to at least 70% of full-time workers.

The move came after employers pressured the Obama administration to peel back the law's insurance requirements. Some firms had trimmed workers' hours to below 30 hours a week to avoid paying a penalty if they didn't offer insurance.

A senior administration official said the shift was a response to businesses' concerns, though the official said no one reason was behind the change.

Under the original 2010 health law, employers with the equivalent of at least 50 full-time workers had to offer coverage or pay a penalty starting at $2,000 a worker beginning in 2014. Last year, the administration delayed the requirement for the first time by moving it to 2015.

The new rules for companies with 50 to 99 workers would cover about 2% of all U.S. businesses, which include 7% of workers, or 7.9 million people, according to 2011 Census figures compiled by the Small Business Administration. The rules for companies with 100 or more workers, which employ more than 74 million people.

Monday's announcement of fresh changes comes as the administration weighs how much of the law to adjust in the wake of its troubled rollout. Health care is expected to be a central issue in the November midterm elections.

Many employers have been fierce critics of the law, and some praised the administration for giving them the flexibility they sought.

Liberal retards think FOX News is right wing. This is because the news they're used to and approve of has been so far left biased for so long, that anything in the middle appears "far right" to them.

These delays remind me of when he ordered the defense contractors to not send out notices to the employees they were firing, as required by federal law, right before the last election.

The few tards left defending the Occupier are either profiting handsomely from the relationship or are outright socialists that believe DC should rule every segment of our life.

I don't think the general support or lack of even matters. Government is in no way an entity 'of the people, for the people'. It's an institution that does whatever it wants and does a wonderful job convincing some that they are in support of their atrocious ideas. And really it works wonders in dividing the shit out of our nation.

Thought Police: Firms must swear ObamaCare not a factor in firings

Is the latest delay of ObamaCare regulations politically motivated? Consider what administration officials announcing the new exemption for medium-sized employers had to say about firms that might fire workers to get under the threshold and avoid hugely expensive new requirements of the law. Obama officials made clear in a press briefing that firms would not be allowed to lay off workers to get into the preferred class of those businesses with 50 to 99 employees. How will the feds know what employers were thinking when hiring and firing? Simple. Firms will be required to certify to the IRS – under penalty of perjury – that ObamaCare was not a motivating factor in their staffing decisions. To avoid ObamaCare costs you must swear that you are not trying to avoid ObamaCare costs. You can duck the law, but only if you promise not to say so.
